Just got REP on my 24 250 sxf. You weren't lying, Mark knows his stuff!
having just ridden one recently on a demo day here in uk, i loved it, front end feel is great, gearing i felt up a tooth on the back, apart from a little customising, bars etc, and tyres, great bike, and i think im sold
Pretty funny coincidence that you said this about the Pirellis and pressure. I’ve had 2 flats over the past two weekends and after the second time looked inside the tire and the inner carcass is split wearing a hole in the tubes. Always ran 12.5-13 PSI. Too late for the Pirelli now but I’ll keep the Dunlops dialed in. This tire is smoked haha. -From the used to be fat Honda guy
Def like this bike but I don’t like buying first year bikes. Seen it fail a few times at the pro level, haven’t seen one at the track yet.
I’ve been running that rear Pirelli but a 110 on my husky for 15 hours the nylon been showing from hour 1 and now it’s lost about 15 nobs😂
When are you going to put up a article with settings for this bad boy on your website?
If you don't need to fiddle with it while riding, I'd relocate that map switch to the upper triple clamp.
I'd put it behind the number plate once you get it set. I did that with the blue map button on my YZ. LOL.
shhhh they're trying to sell everyone $250 billet button kits lmao
@@jd43tv56 LOL. Vet guys will buy them. Crazy though! It's really the only thing wrong with the bike IMO. I'm curious to see if the reliability will hold up to Keefer!
@jake981 I'm for it lmao! Triumph rules... I've road raced all jap bikes, a BMW and a Triumph and gotta say the fit and finish on the Triumph was miles ahead of everyone else... reliability was on par w Japanese too.. I'd love to get my hands on one of these
Jesus, 4 hour life on that tire?! Wtf! 😅
On another note, got the Mx3s for my 23’ yz250f as you recommended. That and the mx14 for the rear. Can’t wait to see the difference on my local sand track versus the stock tires.
Off topic. But you posted online about the 2023 kawi hydro clutch/lever PN# 43015-0742 would work on crf450r. Would that work on a 2020 crf450r or only the 23’?
Hi speed adjuster have any effect on squatting?
@@billdeck9766 It does but it made the bike harsher on accel. I preferred sag up.
TF likely equates to Triumph 4-stroke, and X = Cross
shorten the bars to 802mm what does that effect, I've always left mine stock but I'm 6'4 so idk if that means anything
@@granttcombss You would think having some leverage (wider bars) would help but I’ve found (as well as others) that 810-812mm makes it harder to lean/corner bike. 800-804mm seems to be a good leverage ratio for most riders/bikes. Might be worth a try?
Loved 996s on my Yamaha, on new ktm went with 827s (same bend no crossbar) for the vibration. They felt like ape hangers for some reason. Then went to 839s, almost exact same bend but 10mm less wide. Standing up accelerating they felt a little narrow at first but that went away after 1 moto, & they felt 10x better immediately when cornering seated. Much better overall & im a lanky 6’3.
@@Keeferinctesting thanks yeah I’ll probably try it next round
4 hours on a tire 😂. I’ll never buy one of those Pirelli’s!
X is for Motocross, they will prob bring out a W for woods or XC for cross country so I don't agree that X is normally for road going models.

Is a nice bike but I just don't like the black. Would of been badass in a red or blue
i think british green would suit them
British Racing Green!
Didnt you take your kid off the triumph im Assuming you did that because the bike was not good might of been ferry's kid I can't remember
@@mxdocumentarytvmxdocumenta2221 My kid has been on Kawasaki’s the whole time. Not us.
Can they stop giving them stupid letter names just put 250 and 4-stroke
