On a scale of 1-10, can you give me a rating between the Yamaha fork & shock vs the GasGas fork & shock? Mayne elaborate a little on what does what better or worse? What about owning either bike for long term? What do i keed to worry about, expect to spend money on or worry about? Is there anything you would suggest buying for the GasGas that, if it came with, would make it a better bike than the Yamaha? I can get the GasGas at dealer cost so it would'nt do be a big deal to spend some miney on fork kits or whatever you'd suggest. I am leaning towards the Yamaha, but im open to getting one of these if there are things that can be done to get it on par or past the Yamaha. If the Yamaha is the way to go regardless of the mods for the GasGas, let me know & Yamaha it is.

Did you guys change the maps on the handlebar? Perhaps if you set it to aggressive it would help the low-end power???? IMO, it's a KTMmaha like you guys mentioned. I also hink its a great bike too. My only concern is that its frame is very similar to what Yamaha used in 2008 and James Stwart hated it, which had a very bad push in turns, hopefully this one does not have the same issue that everyone complained about on 2007 and 2008 YZ450F......We'll see. It's a nice bike and I would get a little bit more bottom by finding a Kickstarter Suzuki for a price I would still be stretching for... That's a fancy 450 for a guy riding a 125 from 2000... Don't get me wrong, it's still nice to get out in the dirt

I trust NOBODY who complains about Kayaba SSS suspension on Yamaha bikes. That suspension is the best in the industry. I'd love to ride this 450, but it sounds like a soft underpowered 450.

Went from a Yamaha 250f to a ktm 250f. Agreed with the Yamaha/ktm hybrid idea since they were announced. Would love to try one seems like my ideal bike. Hopefully they make a 350. Not a 450 guy but really enjoyed the ktm 350 I rode.
