A prenerf Octopus, and a prebuff Rat would've actually countered this strategy. Literally all the stars aligned to make this the most op strategy in SAP ever
a prenerf octopus would lose if you had level 2 tapirs

Pre-update Rat would've been a good counter against Tapir...

Nope. There is no space in team to spawn a rat. And there is no way to clean the space because Tapirs respawn all the time.
@@1kvolt1978 Hmmm that could be right, unless other enemy pets were sniped or the rat somehow spawns before the tapir does
Nah nah don’t diss respect the rat…. Rat plus hippo or rhino is huffy
@@1kvolt1978 doesn't that depend on the order of operations? Like if rat trades and it spawns a rat before the tapir there's space for it
Although this got past the devs, can we just appreciate that they put a hit limit per round to catch scenarios exactly like this? Otherwise an infinite loop is caused and forces you to abandon the match
I wonder if the hit limit has ever been reached by "normal" means, like if you each had 5 1/50 pets
@@kevinconnors2430 Itd be easy to do in versus just get salamanders or cockroaches and max their health and it’ll be 1-2 damage in Arena you’d probably have to just get dumb orca rolls or something similar
@@kevinconnors2430In versus, you just need two or three 1/50 crabs to auto draw the match after a while.
Yeah I was surprised this wasn’t spotted beforehand I wouldve thought the devs would’ve prevented it or maybe even done a troll when you tried to do it.

I think you just automatically lose if you do it now
A tapir in the back actually works as well, you don't even need all other slot's
@@westarrr yeah I was thinking something like that and then at the end of the turn the sloth disappears completely
if the enemy has a lvl 3 iguana that actually makes an infinite loop that cannot stop. the tapir dies, makes a tapir, iguana shoots the tapir for 3 killing it, which then summons another tapir, and that goes on forever since no attacks will be make and its all trigger effects

How did the devs miss this? This is like the most obvious exploit you could possibly make.
They’re probably thinking of the “push” synergy a lot when making this. But yeah if this don’t get patched we’ll see more of a toxic summoning team again

There are 80 animals. They could have fixed 20 more "obvious" exploits, but they only have to miss 1.

Lol, the max-turn rule (after about 30-40 attacks) will happen a lot, especially with pepper. They need to prevent tapir from summoning itself

He should be done with the current stuff before these are released. Although the weekly pack thing throws a wrench into things, if that and customs are the only new way
@@buzzsaw1000 I think the weekly pack thing is alright. I would actually like to see the AtoZ stuff more spaced out/not posted everyday cuz it feels like he blows by them really quick. Maybe have some different challenges in between weeks.
My guess would be thar he uses a diffrent account, I doubt his main is called AtoZ

Also, no way this was intended. This had to be an oversight.
Should only need four tapirs to become unstoppable, as no pet can hit more than three targets at once in that pack and you could only lose if one attack simultaneously killed your entire team
Blowfish with pepper Snake and Tiger should kill all 5
rhino. if you don't have the stats rhino would make quick work of it
If a hedgehog wipes the team before the summon happens, that'd do it. Even if the hedgehog only kills the back 4 and the front one still summons, it would be 1 tapir with nothing else to summon
Actually, still wouldn't matter because even when the far-left tapir was killed it summoned itself.
I'm not convinced that killing them all simultaneously would actually accomplish anything

I assume it'll get patched to only do it so many times but still can be powerful with Turkey builds once fixed.
It doesn't work like this does it? Since the first one is the one that's doing the reveving and not the last one, like with a fly. Since there is a new one spawned here even with a limit to one it just respans with a new limit of one. So they have to fix it differently.

Or they’ll make it to where when they respawn the ability of the animal doesnt work

The strat is to have a pet that deals damage when the pet infront of it attacks behind the tapir so you can beat others using the strat
You can't. Each tapir summons another tapir. You could kill all 5 at once and they'd just resummon 5 more tapirs.
@@tommydashed4205 it summons the pet in the back so a strong rhino destroys it, and also the strat doesn't work anymore so your comment was pointless

I think the devs knew it could happen, probably is just easier to just release as is (also to gather statistics info), then patch it afterwards. This is not a bigger issue due the hit limit they knew would prevent breaking the game.
Except it's unbeatable, short of killing all five at once or rat summons.
It very much breaks the game, even if it doesn't cause an infinite loop.

The eyes on so many of the new pets look so silly

The only way to make this infinitely broken is to use only tapirs, but it's cancelled by self buffing towers, and you'd draw from too many hits
I would put double or triple alligator in the middle, it's not foolproof but it will get past the focus sash
I'm pretty sure only a level 2 hedgehog could counter 5 tapirs.

I think these are far too many pets at once and a lot of them have more vibrant colors than the base set so everything feels so alien

imagine doing this but with a lv3 snake behind the first tapir so it can actually defeat somebody that's using the exact same strat
How would a snake help them win? It's not just the first tapir that spawns more tapirs. They all have the ability so each one you kill just spawns another tapir. If you kill 3 tapirs then each tapir will spawn a tapir so you'll get back 3 tapirs. Even if you killed all 5 at once they'd just respawn.

No, If I understand correctly how the interaction works, killing all the tapirs at once still won't beat it. They'll still summon more tapirs.

I dont think the bus will kill this team since it will just copy and respawn unless you one shot the whole team with a leopard
Even a team of leopards wouldn't work. The leopard hits 3 different times so each tapir would just still keep respawning. This is assuming that killing them all at once with something like a hedgehog would even do the trick. Would have to learn exactly how the interaction works.
