“The Metamorphoses” consists of fifteen books and is the best-known of Ovid’s works. In Legentibus’ edition we have collected some of the most famous tales from it, all exploring timeless themes such as love, death, hubris, resilience, and the inescapability of fate.

Our aim is to aid learners in not only understanding and appreciating the intricacies of classical quantitative meter, but also in recognizing and valuing the artistry inherent in the poetry.

Daniel, I'm a novice autodidact who just started reading Famillia Romana a few days ago and I've noticed that you tend to roll your Rs slightly when pronouncing words like Roma. How do you do this so effortlessly? It always sounds contrived when I try to do it because I have to pause and make more of a deliberate effort
