This looks amazing! Hopefully returning to your beautiful country for my 50th Birthday! - And this will be on my bucket list! Thanks for the great video - Stay safe Guys - Love from the UK
Oh wow. WHAT A WAY to celebrate!! I tell you what, coming from the UK, when you get close to the island and see it covered in sunshine, the water dazzling blue, music pumping... it's the most wonderful feeling! Reminds you just how beautiful the world is and how wonderful life is too!! Can't wait for you to visit and experience for yourself :) Phoebe x
@travelforphoebe Hi - enjoyed the video, it IS indeed a great place to visit, and so close to Brisbane! I've been a Brisbane youtuber for 18 years now, so thought I'd say hello. Cheers, Steve
One of my favourite places. I stay at the resort and enjoy snorkelling around the wrecks and have been doing it for many years. Even though it is less than an hour away from Brisbane by fast ferry it is surprising how many Brisbane residents know very little about Moreton Bay. It does cost but it is worth it. Great to see this promotion.
That’s a fantastic little escape!! when we were over there I was wishing we were staying for a few nights - it’s just stunning. Thanks for watching. Phoebe x
Its so nice that you guys are getting out and about. in you own neighborhood . You have such beautiful places to visit. Allow your self to have fun with the vlogs. Harriet and I have fun watching them. We keep hoping that we can enjoy Brisbane someday.💖💖 Snorkeling is always a fun activity. Thank you for all you do. Be Well! Be Safe and Stay Healthy.😍😍 We love you ! Phoebe and Matt . 💖💖 Harriet and Jim
Of all the places to be 'stuck,' we got pretty lucky :) We've been talking a lot about how to keep making videos this year and realised we need to change what we're doing slightly, at least until we can go to new places to make our big destination guides. So we're going to focus on great little adventures like this one! Awesome day's out, great food, Queensland destinations we love - just stuff that gives us a chance to do what we love and be happy again :) Thank you so much for all your support, especially the last few months - it has been hugely appreciated. Love you guys too! P xx
YES! I totally agree, Gordon! It was grey and spitting rain at the harbour when we left and I was a bit dejected thinking we'd just be having another grey summer day out there but as soon as we got close to the island the sun came out and it was like... a portal to another world haha Everyone over there was just buzzing! Such a good time :) Phoebe xx
oh my gosh!!! THANK YOU!!! Isn't he amazing?! I don't know how he does it - he really brings everything together so skilfully. Your comment had him smiling ear to ear. Thank you - Phoebe x
So glad u guys have recovered and back vlog again. I missed all ur eps, youtube didn't send me any notifications. Oh well, I can go and watch all ur new eps now. I love this island, it's on my bucket list.
Moreton island is the best! Cory used to be a tour guide there so we visited every weekend for one whole season and it was so much fun. And we can both relate with the sea sickness 😂 we’re terrible. Moreton crossing was never too bad though! 🙌
Thank you!! Happy New Year to you too - it felt so good to get out and be able to film again. I've missed it so much. Have a great week ahead. Phoebe xx
Thanks so much for watching! Hope you had a great weekend :) Yes, it was beautiful and just the break we needed! So good to get away for a day. Phoebe xx
@@travelforphoebe Hi Phoebe. My pleasure! Totally agree with you that it’s beautiful and just the break we needed. It is great for our mental health and wellbeing. It reminds me Cairns where we visited last year. You guys are doing an amazing job. Looking forward to watching more videos.
I should’ve gone to Moreton island when I was in Brissie 2 years ago! The boat ride itself is stunning already 🤩. Plenty of good food on the trip, yummy. Diving and snorkeling is so good. It’s mindfulness for me. Especially diving, as you only hear your own breathing for the dive, which usually takes 30-60 minutes depending on oxygen usage. Next time I visit Brisbane, I’ll make sure to add Moreton Island to my itinerary. Wish I would’ve known this earlier 😅. Thanks for this video and have a wonderful week 🤙
Wow, yes, absolutely! Scuba is like meditation, right? I've only done it once but it really clicked with me. I thought maybe I'd panic or be scared to breathe but it just felt right. So peaceful. Hope you had a great holiday season, Felix! Where's your next adventure? I know you gotta have something lined up :) P x
@@travelforphoebe it surely is meditation! I am just one week back from Fuerteventura island where I celebrated NYE and I’ve got Lanzarote island lined up for March. Nothing is plannend after, but I hope I can finally make my Mexico trip to Playa del Carmen in winter (November).
Yessssss, Felix! Oh my gosh, you are going to LOVE Mexico - I'm so happy for you! I just had to google Fuerteventura Island and, holy heck, it looks stunning. I'd never heard of it before - you've just added something to my bucket list for a change! P x
Omg phoebe, I saw ur Mala Mala reserve video and they had a livestream and go around see the animals about 2 years ago was amazing wanted to go there, now u been here too I live and work at the resort such a small world aye or Pheobe is out here living her best life ps: your awesome phoebe u inspire me alot
Great to see your back on your feet 🦶 and back to business filming. Great job on the audio and I know the boat engines can be loud. Yes 🙌 to the cold Diet Coke welcome back to 2022.
Tangalooma is the jewel of Morton Bay! It will be great if Toondah Harbour gets the green light down that way to help brighten up an otherwise muddy swamp :D
Oh gosh, I have to say I’ve tried both and didn’t have any luck ☹️ but this time I didn’t get sick at all! I think taking half of a tablet was all I needed without any of the drowsiness 😍
Definitely need to go back, good memories! We went there in early June (days were still beautiful, we swam!) Hired a tinnie and tried fishing around the wrecks, we were the only ones there, not a soul in sight.. Please put North Stradbroke on your list :) Hope to go there for a few days this April, hope to get some photos and drone footage of the gorge at Point Lookout!
Wow! Okay, I've never heard of this before! The nervous part of me (the one that's tried wrist bands and ginger tablets and still been ill) is sceptical but... if it works for you, it must work.... right?!
@@travelforphoebe yes! It is slowly diffused over 3 days (patch can be left on up to 3 days) so the antihistamine properties (the sedating portion of this anticholinergic med) are felt less intensely. If you were living in the Portland, OR area in the U.S., I'd be able to prescribe it for you 😂. Anyways, hope the patches allow you to make more of these awesome videos!
Oh my gosh that sounds incredible - I'll have to see if I can get them through my doctor here. That's exactly what I need! I LOVE Portland - still carry my Powell's book bag with me everywhere I go :)
Hahahaha nooooo there are no crocodiles in this part of Queensland! They’re far far away right up at the top of the country waiting for a tasty snack 🐊 🤣
Hello! I’ve never visited in July so I can’t say personally - might be best to ask a tour company or check weather forecast and decide what cold means to you haha I’m a local so I get cold easy. I’d also recommend checking out some blogs/videos for families to get info on activities you can do with your little one ♥️ all I’ve got is two cats 😂
It’s a glove the staff give you to put on and I believe it’s because the shipwrecks are sharp so if the current pushes you toward them unexpectedly you can safely put your hand out to stop yourself without getting cut or hurt

Yesssss!! Me too!! I LOVE snorkelling. Have you ever done a scuba??

Hey how much the boat ride there and back great video/ upload
I get sea sick on boats too. I've tried drinking ginger ale and using seasick bands, and they seem to work, if you don't like the pills.

For sea sickness, a scopolamine patch behind the ear tends to be less sedating for me.
