I believe firmly that wonder young ladies who have stunnsd us with their wunderful singing are angels from vast heavenly choirs sent by the almighty himself!! To show hope to inflamed planet!!
When i first saw her on AGT, I thought she was too good, her voice and her presentation. But her performances over the years have changed my mind. She is remarkable.
Literally nothing could have prepared me for the 30 year old woman’s voice coming out of that small child

My eldest granddaughter, the same age as Jackie, said when she saw Jackie singing this that "Kids shouldn't be able to sing like that". I am so pleased at how wrong she is.
There is another too, completely different to Jackie but just as amazing, Angelina Jordan Astar, a little Norwegian who sings jazz mainly.

For that matter, what 11 year old has ever performed an entire solo concert on Public Television hosted and accompanied by a legendary 16-time Grammy winning producer/pianist (David Foster), with full orchestra at a cost of an estimated $1M? Not only that, she did another PBS concert at age 12 with full orchestra, and again at age 14....never before in the history of Television.

@@ivanigorpollick6690 I seems you are confusing emotion with effort. This performance, as well as the others in this concert, is nearly flawless. This child is a vocal prodigy for whom singing is as necessary and natural as breathing. She doesn't have to THINK about technique, and the mechanics, but put her energy into the expression as she interprets the meaning of the song.
The most impressive thing about this performance is how mature she sounds compared to how tiny and young she looks!
She WAS. Jackie just turned 11 around the time of this Concert. Her absolute BEST!
I think emotionally she is mature. she really does feel the depth of feeling in these songs, intuitively,
even when she doesn't know what the words mean.
When I show this to people, I let them hear it first and make them guess what the owner of the voice probably looks like, all of them are so far off from the truth.

Except your psychological maturity don't automatically mirrors the maturity of your voice. So yeah, she must have been emotionnally mature by the way she interpreted this song BUT her voice certainly sounds mature by nature.
Because, there's everything concerning native languages. I mean, English-speakers use a lot of headvoice and lower their voice naturally. On the other hand, my people (Frenchmen) speaks a lot through their throat. It's a little bit hard to explain... but we sound much higher than Englishmen even when we speak the lowest.
Moreover, she has quite a classical technique. By the way she mouths her vowels and such. It's even more striking now that she's older. Classical technique, also, has the effect of making people sound lower than their speaking voice. And making their voice more "round", "wide".
Round, low, wide, and slow rythm here BOOM your brain thinks "mature".
So yeah, I mean yeah she's emotionnally mature. Personnality influences your interpretations, but this voice is the result of her working on her natural range by being taught music. Not a reflection of her soul.

Jackie was blessed with great range and a beautiful timbre of tone, as her chest voice reveals as a soprano artist--compare her with Amira Willighagen and see what I mean, because Amira, though very good herself, could never reach the depth that Jackie could in the lower registers and that to me does not quite sound as good as Jackie's voice. Amira's voice is pitched higher and that makes the difference.
I'm not really impressed with the older Jackie after about 12 years old--the seriousness, and enthusiasm just seems not to be there like it was on her beginning albums. She grew rapidly, right after "Dream with Me," and I noticed her smile in place even while singing the same opera pieces in her Japan singing and elsewhere. I'm less impressed with Jackie now--not saying she is still not a good singer, but compared with "Dream with Me," much leaves to be desired.
Her voice gives me peace ✌️

In the books, Christine had long golden curls (blonde). Jackie would be the perfect Christine, with the voice of an angel.

As an AESTHETE, I have been following this teenage singing SENSATION Jackie Evancho, for a few years now, after she was revealed to the world in AGT. And everywhere I go, and in every video, she has received so many accolades, so much so that it is hard to add to a comment that has not yet been said.
So I will take a niche, and COMPLIMENT Jackie for always wearing clothes over the years, that have CONSISTENTLY BEEN ELEGANT and SUPER TASTEFUL.
This only affirms that Miss Evancho is such an all-around lover of beauty, and shares this love with the rest of the world.

@@sunnieemerson6814 I don't think that's actually what you mean to say. But, If you're suggesting that Jackie mimics as many of her critics have, you are mistaken. Jackie listens to many different types of music for inspiration. With any song she chooses to cover, she adapts her vocal abilities and interpretive skills to making it her own. Jackie has never sounded like the singer she has covered. What's "built in" with Jackie is her unique crystal clear tone (bell tone) which is evident in every song she sings.

It's her 8th consecutive album to hit #1 on the Billboard Classical chart. Songs from Hamilton, Dear Even Hansen, Wicked, Waitress, Once, The Greatest Showman and more. Thus far Jackie has sung Opera, Classical Crossover, Movie Themes, Musical hits, Pop, Jazz, early & contemporary Broadway, most recently a beautiful R&B rendition of a Bazzi rap song, and performances in "Get Jack in Concert" (songs from a new Rock musical).
