Grammies are awarded for original music, not covers of other artists. However, Jackie just released her first album of songs she wrote, composed and co-produced titled "Solla". The first track, "Behind My Eyes" is being played on Adult Contemporary Radio across the country, and has been #18 on the AC top 50 chart for some time. The album (EP) is #8 on the Billboard New Releases in Pop.

I looked at Life from both sides now also and I'm glad to come from humble beginnings because I will always appreciate the smallest blessings all my life- simple things like running water and freedom, rights and protection, and private property. And yes, there are all kinds of love. When I lost my mother, I learned a hard truth- that loving can lead to losing and so we do our best to care about others on this side of life.

I went to high school with her name is Karen Carpenter who is my best friend taught me how to play the drums in the high school game, she’s always been a very good friend of mine never thought of her any less or any better. She was meticulous perfectionist, and everything else but she still out in the public singing her songs that she enjoys doing you do such a wonderful job entertaining and I will continue buying your albums forever JAMES.

Unfortunately my wife Passed away 1 hour before your Semi finals. Watching you grow over the years keeps me going. Wow, that little girl who sang with Sarah Brightman way back when has really grown into a true beauty and still has a beautiful voice and KNOWS how to use it! I really enjoy music where the singer isn't trying to get the loudest highest scream out of the high notes. Did I mention how beautiful she is? Wow. To be fair, it's a sad song. Musicians act a little in their songs to try to get the mood of the song across to the listeners. I first remember this song when Andy Williams' wife left him.

She can't lose her operatic sound, I think that's what holds her back. She doesn't draw you into the song like Haley Reinhart or Eva Cassidy would. Too bad cause she does have a good voice.
To my knowledge, neither Haley nor Eva have recorded Both Sides Now. So, you can't really compare by assumption. Jackie's rendition is a tribute to Joni Mitchell who wrote the song in 1969 and sang it in her story-telling style. Jacki has done the song justice in that regard in a beautiful and sensitive way.. There's nothing "operatic" about her sound in this song.
