I traded in my 2018 M3LR when I bought my M3P a few months ago. I was actually sad to leave my faithful old car behind in the Tesla lot, and would have much preferred meeting the new owner and knowing it was going to someone who would love it as much as I did. Maybe it sounds silly to feel emotional over a car, but that’s what it’s like to own a Tesla.
@@M3rewards I absolutely love it. Same color as yours but with the black interior. My only gripe is the plastic on the wheels. I popped out the large pieces and they look better but I prefer the look of the wheels on my old M3LR. Other than that small niggle, a huge upgrade from my 2018. Have you had a chance to listen to the upgraded sound system? It’s like your own private concert hall.

First EV , it literally puts a smile on my face every time I get to drive it. This car is ridiculously fast in it's own right. Only Tesla. I love the cooled seats they come in clutch in the summers of Phoenix

The chips on the hood seem to be an occurrence issue because my car when I took delivery has chips also and I’m getting that fixed next week. Enjoy the car he just got a new follower to the channel.

I'm in the same boat as you having to choose Stealth Grey due to it being the only color I could get with the tax credit. I don't mind it at all, and after driving the car I could care less about the color. It's an absolutely thrilling machine. Enjoy!
what's interesting to me is that 1 - teslas are still mickey mouse made (even for a car that costs that much) and 2 - they obviously know you're making the long trip to pick it up, they cannot walk around themselves and do the work before you get there? it's not like any one of us would see those paint chips or loose edges and say "nah dawgs, we cool, i'm just happy it drives off the lot". but surprisingly we are all cutting them some slack, whereas for any other manufacturer this wouldn't fly.
Agreed, when did we the consumer have to study and become quality control workers for Tesla! I'm still considering the 3 as my next vehicle as i see no getting around ev.

I've had my 2024 Performance for about 6 week. No issues with suspension accelerometers of rear motor seals. Had some minor fit and finish issues, but nothing of note. Surprised at how efficient the car has been. Interested to hear how the new car compares with the 2018.
Curious if you performed the battery check via the service menu to give Dillon an idea of his max battery capacity? Also, I'm going to check out KeySavvy, as I'm contemplating selling my 2021 Model 3 LR w/boost to upgrade to the 2024 M3P. Congratulations on the new car - it's beautiful!
Thanks very much, the Stealth Grey really impressed me in the flesh. I’d highly recommend the M3P! As for the ‘18 range, I didn’t go that far, but noticed around 265 miles on a full charge. KeySavvy appears to be working smoothly, happy to help with any questions.
I recently spoke with a Tesla salesman about this, and he explained that the reason Tesla sedans don't have window tint is because it's illegal in some countries. Since they are mass-produced, they are delivered like this everywhere around the world.

This new M3P has a new rear motor so I suspect that the oil issue you mentioned won’t exist.
