Totally agree AJ, Rennick Phantom is my favorite by far, but Gwaltney knows what he's doing. These guys don't look or sound anything like Spirit, which is surprising. I guess he just knows how to keep with the tradition of a specific corps. The beats these guys are playing combined with their presence, it reminds me a lot of the black phantom era. the other AJ
The big guy on the end of the tenor line.... ive seen him in another video in a div. II or III corps long ago... cant remember what it was but im glad he's worked his way up to here!!
I personally like this phantom better than the paul rennick era...don't get me wrong rennick is sick but gwaltney is taking phantom back to the older days with all the flowie notes and buzzes and stck click visuals and what not. I think when they tighten it up a little, its gonna gel hard.
heeeeey!!! sup AJ haha yeah speaking of rennick scv will win drums this year...but I'm hoping this throwback phantom will comeback this year and match the skill of the killer hornline. i always look forward to jammin to some phantom at dci atlanta
Well the reason why this book is alot more difficult is because shane gwaltney was the percussion caption head, and rennick went to SCV. But both are awesome writers regardless of difficulty.

Phantom Regiment will always be special to me.
Whoever said Phantom has easy books? This certainly doesn't sound or look easy! I love this feature!
this is immensely sick. esp. those whacked out ratamacues at 1:25 and the sequence following... f***ing craziness.
@TheDrummingsquirrel im shocked they didnt snap those sticks on those final 4 rim shots during finals!
Anyone else hear Bluecoats doing Creep in the background?

God.. How i love this book..It's soo well written.. I can almost hear the rest of the corps playing Juliet :)
@ibeiubeu three of the quads and most of the snare line were in Spirit in 2010 and before.
Yeah, still sounds awesome even in the background!! :D
