I love the folklore about the Yew tree Cara, I love trees so this is extra special today...I am always so impressed with the information you find in the surrounding areas to correspond, so amazing and informative ! The church was an added bonus as most of the times lately they are closed so happy we get to go inside! Thank you for sharing your love with us all....
The yew tree has amazing significance, thank you for sharing its historical importance and vulnerability. The stone circle is fascinating. You have explained its structure and significance, what is known and what is unknown. Such a beautiful mystery of the past that will always provide something new to discover. 👍👍🥰🥰
The trip is beautiful of greenery its nice and splendid! Wonderful and soothing for a stroll around exploration! It is such a pleasure to be inside! It appeals to me! 👍👍
Hi Cara! What an impressive Yew tree and the fascinating folklore story surrounding it. What things these old Yew trees must have seen! Thank you for your interesting information about the nearby stone circle. They are so intriguing. The church was beautiful. Thanks for showing us around ❤😊
Wonderful again Cara The stones are fascinating. Such a shame that some of the stones have been moved or destroyed by the Victorians - but what a beautiful location. And that Yew! Incredible. So many Yews in Churchyards but this Church must have been built hundreds (maybe thousands) of years after the Yew. Amazing place Cara.
It was amazing seeing the ancient yew. I love visiting large old trees like this and am glad the area is protected so it can continue to live. Thank you for visiting an area that is not on the more popular tourist destinations.
Very interesting to hear about the old tree. With so few stones left, it's incredible, that they found out it was once a stone circle. I love the wooden ceiling inside the church, it looks amazing.
Amazing history of the Yew, thankfully preserved by previous generations. So many old trees are felled in the name of progress 😢. Stone circles fascinate me, I should have sought one out to visit and photograph one whilst in Cornwall.
This was wonderful Cara, enjoyed listening to your narration about the oldest Yew! So ancient and so impressive. Great folklore stories, interesting to hear about the wall surrounding it. I really liked seeing around the churchyard and seeing the impressive gravestones especially those dating to the 600s. Very cool indeed. Thank you for the extensive research, you're awesome!
Hi, Cara You nailed it again! Beautiful visit I have never thought of visiting cemetery to learn such history before I met your channel Several hundred years old stones. I like this church express their respect and appreciation. I will send you my standing ovation! Hooray, Cara. As always, I am proud of you. I can hear your confidence in your voice. I thank you.
