Great set of mountains that was great brings back memories from a few years ago , love the cycle along the loch always great views along the loch. Glad the cloud moved on and you got the views of ben alder it's a monster of a mountain. ATB ALLY 👍

Thanks for sharing this trip Frank. Great to see these hills again. We had similar conditions on day we did these two with clouds clearing for 2nd Munro after zero visibility on Ben Alder. I'd a summit camp on Stob Ghabhar on Sunday 19th May and was a cloud inversion between 5am and 7.30am on the Monday before clag rolled in again, was much more cloud to the east that morning. Cracking route Frank. loved the ridge up to Ben Alder.The descent off it isn't the best.I intentionally went to the cairn u were at on Bheoil for the full view of Loch Ericht.Well done on passing ur 250th mark.
