what does low bottom end torque mean, when running a 298 cam🤔

On a Mk1 Golf the low bottom end torque is inconsequential, I'm just blown away it's actually running.

Hi there. I like my 4 speed gearbox. If I go turbo on a later stage then I will change the gearbox.
