@@BeAHeroGamingI wasn't. I never took your BGG rant too seriously, because it felt to me like your story was missing key details. You also seemed to be very quick to assume malice and incorrectly stated you didn't agree to terms and conditions. No, I was talking about the other three. I didn't really get the impression that you do look at things on a case by case basis. In fact, the story that you saw 18+ on a game and suddenly weren't interested in the game anymore without knowing why it was 18+ gave me the opposite impression. And the repeated message that if you find that a game you own breaks one of the rules you set, you will probably get rid of it very much gave off that same strict line vibe.
I was told my positive rating was removed due to it being a brand new account. My account also was disabled within hours of the rating. I made a new account and gave the game a 1 star rating…over 24 hours later that rating is still there and that account is not disabled.
So I guess if you have a new account you can only give games bad ratings. It doesn’t make any sense. There has to be someone on the inside that doesn’t like the game.
This doesn't show what you think it shows. The negative behavior that BGG is actually addressing all came from folks leaving positive reviews, so someone leaving a negative review doesn't trigger them looking into it in the same way. You want to think that's a bias but that's them looking at the people that were actually causing the problem and not looking at those who didn't cause the problem. Also, creating an account and rating a game is not, by itself, problematic. As I've said a few times, it was because a lot of people did it all at once. Lastly, do you mind sharing your username? I looked at all the negative reviews yesterday. Only one of the ones currently showing was from a recent account and even that one was over a week old.
@@redshark92 Mandealerson. I am bolstering my account with games I have played/owned currently. Thank you for addressing this. Hopes BGG sees and reevaluate their answers to their FAQ. Put honestly on there that yeah we will block reviews to whatever favors us. I actually tried to talk about the game mechanics what I liked and what I didn't like. But that was blocked and my account deleted

The second we showed up to support a game we've actually played and enjoyed, BGG started a scorched earth sabotage campaign (all while continuing to run the banner ad btw - so they have no problems taking ad money from WOTF) and accused the WOTF community of "brigading" in an attempt to falsify(?) positive reviews.
