If you want to see some things about the father I’d recommend watching slo4n’s video on lil tay, he showed some text messages between the father and mother.
How long have you had that big boy Dennis? I can’t remember how far back but I know you’ve mentioned him several times plus when you did a couple cooking videos he was mentioned/ seen in them. You can tel by the way he looks at you that he loves you. All I could think when you said he doesn’t like being held much, I thought it sure doesn’t look like he doesn’t. He seems very comfortable and trusting of you. I’ve seen cat laid belly up freak out and claw the person holding them. He is a beautiful boy.

As a Canadian with divorced parents.... custody battles don't go to the supreme court
I’m not sure any custody battle would go to a Supreme Court but if I am wrong I would love to read the case brief with all of my very curious heart.
Although I would never in my life wish that on a child. My parents divorced when I was in high school and it was so hateful between them that I applied for boarding schools and was lucky enough to get one with a musical scholarship (definitely not academic). When whatever god closes a door they open a window. In my case at least.
I think it's possible but unlikely. There would have to be a constitutional issue at play or if, as a matter of public interest, there was a need for the law to be clarified.
I'm canadian as well and I'm thinking its because of money that's involved as well as the abuse allegations, my parents didn't go to the Supreme Court either but I didn't have a internet following that made me millions that is "missing", not saying ur wrong but I think it is very likely this could've gotten that far although it wouldn't be likely in a "normal" family court battle
I'm a Canadian! I think they might be talking about the Supreme Court of whatever their province is? Not the federal supreme court. The superior court of provinces hear family matters but so do the provincial courts too I think!

@@MoonMoonTM youtube kids has a different tos than regular youtube. it also prevents comments, dms, and a bunch of other stuff. the main reason kids cant have tos is because of community/forum activity. if u remove that then, legally, kids can have an account. which u cant really do for a lot of social medias like twitter
@@seemenow33ful I mean you have the ability to take away comments on the regular app and comments are disable for anything TH-cam deems to be for kids (even when it’s not). You can’t add it to playlists and it won’t play in miniplayer when minimizing the video on here. Also they took DMs away from TH-cam a few years ago. They also automatically remove comments for simple words. Which makes it impossible for conversations on a lot of important topics. The site basically is for kids at this point if you put restriction mode on. Lmfao.
seems like the dad saw his daughter being exploited and tried to do something to get Tay away from that environment, and the mom and brother who were using her as a cash cow don't want to give it up, the dad makes the perfect Disney villain for them to try and extract more cash from people concerned about liltay, all while demonising and destroying the fathers reputation through social media

Exactly my thoughts too when I first heard about all of this. Her brother is so abusive and 100% using lil Tay. Poor little girl. No one in her life is acting their age, or even treating her right, it seems.

I totally agree. Parents/guardians are supposed to take care of their children and make sure they dont make mistakes that will impact their lives negatively. NOT exploit them.
I feel like it started out as goofing around with her brother in the properties her mom was showing and it just escalated into a thing. I mean even Eminem mentioned her in his Machine Gun Kelly diss track lol so her brother probably wanted to take it as far as possible despite her not wanting to do it anymore. The fact that Chris Hope doesn't let Claire use social media to "clarify" what's going on with her life makes the father more credible in my eyes.
I saw another video on this kid's return by D'Angelo Wallace and the only one in her life not trying to take advantage of her is her father but her mom and brother are exploitative and abusive AF to this poor little girl.

@@xanderkai6353 Yeah you could tell on his face (there looked like there was anguish there) that he wanted to say a lot but didn't because it was wiser not to. When he does respond to Tian (Claire's brother), it's weathered down, and seems to imply that they're not on good terms and haven't been for a long time.
My daughter is nine right now. I feel so awful for this child. She is going to have all of this follow her for the rest of her life, and she had absolutely no idea at the time.
My daughter is 10 and I can only imagine the preassure and the stress this poor kid has gone through, I hope that she's doing better with her current situation
The fact that this kid is begging to bring her back so he can exploit her more, and the father has kept her offline tells me all I need to know. She’s allowed to be a little kid with her dad.
Why would the mother show this child a court order in the first place? Seems awfully Manipulative. It’s all manipulative. Clearly the non, and brother were reliant on the money this minor child has made. The fact that they are calling her “Tay” and not her legal name make it all see more like S gimmick to gain money.
Not to mention the post on her Instagram (ran by her brother) about the alleged abuse with her father was focused more on “lil rays millions” than actually helping her. “Help stop them from stealing lil tays millions”. Obviously her mother and brother have ill intentions. I don’t know enough about her father to speak on that subject but if it is happening I hope she can finally be in a secure and safe place where she’s allowed to be a child.
My parents handled their divorce so terribly. I was like my mothers therapist at 5 years old, having to listen to her rant about my father, and watch my father ultimately abuse her. I was shown documents at a really young age and even my fathers attempt to gain full custody. I understand how she feels, it must be so confusing for her right now. I don’t trust any of them, not even the father.
I mean, sometimes showing kids legal documents can help them make sense of things. In this case, obviously not. However, my mom & dad divorced & he was feeding me tons of lies about my mom. I had no clue what to believe & I eventually ended up clinically depressed. At that point, my mom was tired of him essentially ruining my mental health & showed me the documents proving his infidelity, abuse, etc. It made me super mad at him, not only for what he did, but for lying about it. It helped me see the light once and for all on the situation & I'm grateful.
Danielle and Vicky weren't adults at the time but Vicky mentioned later on that it was scripted. Also Vicky was faking her persona just as much as LilTay was a facade. Danielle played into the entertainment too although she was more genuine on who she was.
vicky had actually just turned 18. of course, still not psychologically an adult though. and yeah, it was scripted, those two were actually friends. woahvicky actually was the one that exposed claire's brother and helped people understand that claire was safe with her dad.
The saddest part is Claire seems to be a legitimately intelligent child with great confidence and charisma who could really make something of herself _as an adult choosing her own path._ Instead of letting her enjoy her childhood, giving her resources to educate herself for the future, and encouraging her dreams or aspirations they just pimped her out like freak show attraction. Now she'll have so much baggage emotionally, psychologically, and socially it'll actually be a obstruct her talents and future.
The "what was the last positive impact youve had" thing hurt to hear. Because as a kid you want to do good, thats why you listen to your parents and try hard in school and wanna make them proud. But this kid never had a chance to make a positive impact HER way, shes been exploited. I hope she can make a truly positive impact one day..
The brother Jason tried and failed at becoming a You Tuber. It was then that he turned his sister into Lil Tay. IMO, they probably have gone through all the money she made and that’s why they’re doing this now, to get her back so she could resume making money for the mother and brother. I think the father taking her off Social Media and allowing her to have a normal childhood is the best thing for her.
Also, the father is a successful lawyer in Canada so it’s not strange that he has a nice car and takes his family on vacations.
All this info was on another creator’s deep dive into this topic and she had proof of his failed YT career and the fact her father is a lawyer in Canada. There are a lot of laws to protect child stars (actors/singers) from these kind of these situations but when these things are happening through social media and not through production company’s etc. it’s a lot easier for the social media children to be exploited to the worst, there needs to be laws put in place for these kind of things going on through social media just as the mainstream child stars

People are talking about Lil Tay in this video, and because of what we can see about her, but for the most part I'd argue people aren't thinking about her much. Similarly when abuse stories for child actors come out, they get talked about probably more than Lil Tay would be talked about... or am I missing something?
When I first saw her vids I was annoyed but not at her, rather than at the people posting her acting that way that seemed forced and it seemed to be her own parent and sibling. The more that has come out about it the more disturbing ughhh
The interview with her mom and her was obviously a big sign. She genuinely looked scared when she spoke about the social media account and the houses. The amount of pressure on her was disgusting. Her mom just let her try and cover her ass when it was the mother’s responsibility to take ownership for HER actions. Not her daughters, hers. A 9 year old who probably just wanted validation from her family. She can’t defend herself when she isn’t even aware she’s being exploited. Even Snoop Dogg cared more for her than her mother and brother. Literally he posted about it after he saw the clip of her brother (this was long before all this came out) and said her father should get involved.

Well not all child stars. Some turn out relatively fine. But yes, often they end up terribly because they’re forced to deal with fame and all the bad stuff that comes with it from early on.

my heart breaks for this girl. and her brother if im honest, yeah hes older but this started many moons ago to make him feel like this is ok for his baby sister.
The clip of her crying when she finds out she has to go to her dads is so sad. Imagine what they told her about him to keep her from wanting contact with him, and how scared she had to be. And they filmed it and uploaded it.
That's not proof of any sort of abuse from her dad. If I told a kid that age, for years, there was a monster in a basement closet to keep them out of it, then filmed me telling them they had to go into that closet, I'd get the same results. And if I said it was proof there was a monster in the basement closet, that would be insane and stupid
The thing about that video is last I heard, there's no sound, so she could be crying over anything. She's looking at some kind of tablet/iPad, so it's very unlikely to be a court order of any kind. I serve legal papers for a living, and though I haven't done custody orders, I've done petitions for orders and the like and aaaall are on paper. I saw someone post in the comment section that it was from when XXXTentacion died, but can't verify that either.

I'm honestly surprised the brother isn't getting them into multiple lawsuits while he's openly running a minors account that isn't his, trying to swindle money under the name of someone he has no control over, and slandering people in the process. He should consider himself lucky he didn't get in more trouble for all he forced that girl to go through. Cause boy, in America...That whole family would probably have of been sued a million times by now.

What her mother and brother have done to her is gross. They 100% used and exploited her for their own gain with absolutely no concern about her or what this could do to her. Putting her in positions children should never be in. Giving her weed... She’s just a little girl. And now her father has finally come in and taken her off the Internet and made her live the life of a normal little girl and the brother is now accusing him of abuse and stealing her money. I don’t believe him for a freaking second. He’s clearly just mad because he can’t use her anymore. I think the brother and for the most part the mother...were living off tay's earnings. The mother and brother were using Tay. They want to continue to do that.
That poor child. Videos like the one where she's being coached by her brother on what to say and she's not in-character break my heart. When I was that age, I'd say anything to make the authority figures in my life happy (even if I didn't like it myself), and I feel like Claire is doing the same thing. I can only hope she gets to have a healthier, more normal childhood from now on, and that she's able to move on from this and isn't penalized in the future for the things she was pressured into doing as a kid.
Also, Dennis is adorable and he did indeed make me smile. Such a good kitty. I love his bowtie! My boyfriend's cat has a little bowtie that's almost identical.
Tbh, I’m on her dads side, based on the info given. He could very well be abusive, but all of the “evidence” the brother has put out is obviously staged/false/slanderous, and doesn’t lead to that conclusion. Like the things he’s been posting on Instagram are just photos with no context within them, the only context provided is what he puts in the captions and we already have reasons to not trust a word he says. And the dad is a lawyer, ofc he’s not going to say anything on video. Her dad did the right thing taking her off of social media. If he wanted to exploit her, would he not let her continue to make videos? The brothers story just doesn’t add up. I think he just wants his “cash cow” back. In the end I just hope Claire is in a good place and is allowed to be a kid.

I think it was referencing her "being removed from his care" back in 2014 or whenever the stepbrother is alleging the "initial -issues-" happened. I'm fairly sure she's still with her dad at this time.

I thought that post was referring to recent events in current day, but after seeing your comment and rereading the post, it does appear that Jason is just rehashing events from 2014 (of which I doubt we’re getting anything close to the truth about) and that it has nothing to do with present day. They’re just grasping at straws at this point to get their child cash cow back in their control. They don’t care about Claire, they just care about her money. That’s all their posts about her are focused on. All they talk about is the dad having control of her “millions” not about her actual wellbeing or missing her in their lives. Such a heartbreaking situation for this little girl. I have no clue the true character of the father, but him taking her off social media completely gives him quite a lot of credibility in my eyes. Her brother and mother claim that he just wants her for the money, yet the ENTIRE time she has been in his care she has been offline. None of their words align with reality, though what can you expect from narcissists who’s only goal in life is to exploit a young child and ruin her future and any semblance of a normal childhood. I have yet to see any proof that the father is abusive, yet I DO see an exponential amount of proof that she has been abused and exploited by her mother and brother. I pray she is currently in a safe and loving environment, and that she is also getting counseling to work through the damage that has been inflicted upon her by the ones who are supposed to love and protect her. I don’t know how it works in Canada, but if it’s like the US, the judge overseeing their custody case needs to put a gag order on all parties involved to stop them from continuing to exploit this little girl even further. Absolutely disgusting what they are doing. No child deserves this.

I feel like this new GFM was inspired by the "Free Britney" movement. It worked for Britney so why wouldn't it work for Claire? The problem I have with it is that her brother is the one who created it and it's using her "Lil Tay" name and not her actual name. They're 0 supreme court cases involving little tay in Canada. Old outdated photos nothing in the time line makes sense nor has the daughter herself said anything about the Father. So with the info we got, I can't fully believe the brother...his character is to shady.

On a more serious note, it’s really sad that Claire is stuck in the middle of this family dispute. She’s being taken advantage of, and it’s hard to witness a child being used to make money, and now a public family dispute that definitely could/will effect her in the future. I hope she’s okay, she’s the person the courts need to protect, and they need to put her in the home that is the safest for her, and if it ends up being with the brother and mom, she needs to focus on school not social media.

At one point, there were, at least, 4 GoFundMe acct's set up with the exact same info/pics but different people sponsoring them. I reported them and all but one disappeared. Clair can't run the GoFundMe, she's not 18 years old and if she were involved, I'm sure she'd somehow indicate it was her asking for her brother to do so, on her behalf. Oddly, it's just her brother writing the narrative. How difficult for her dad to protect her when the Internet and her stupid stepbrother still exist.
