I struggled with anger issues because I couldn't fly. It bothered me for years until I realized that humans can't fly no matter what Gohan said and that flight is kind of a shit superpower.

her "tumor" was probably a cyst. i have one on my neck that i thought was a tumor and after i changed my diet it slowly went away. but that being said if anyone finds a bump on their body that shouldn't be there get it checked by their doctor.
Same! I have one in my ankle. Got everything tested and told that there's no need for removal unless it causes issues in the future.
Before my MRI it literally went down on its own by 1/2 of its size. It went from almost a golf ball to a little bigger than a marble. It just naturally shrunk.
Always get things checked though! I'm lucky that there were no issues, but I'm glad I got everything checked none-the-less!
I have had something I think are cysts that sometimes form in my earlobes. I've been taking a needle, heating it over a lighter, then puncturing my lobe to reduce the size.
Had to get a tumor that I thought was nothing, surgically removed from my left leg below my knee. Thought it was no big deal til it started getting bigger and my mother wouldn’t hush about it lol. It was my first and only surgical procedure and they fucked up a nerve so random spots around my lower left leg are dead numb now. Really weird feeling every time I shave my legs because I can’t feel what I’m doing

Same, I think. Honestly, I haven't been off my meds long enough to confirm precisely what type of bipolar I have, but it doesn't seem like I've ever quite hit full-out mania. Somewhat borderline in a few cases, I think, but it's not exactly like the lines between them are all that clear.

As someone with autism and fibromyalgia, I can confidently agree that I don't have an indigo aura either, and some things really can't be healed.
I was 24 when I was diagnosed with ADHD, took meds for the first time and my mind was blown. Because holy mother of God, normal people don’t have a brain that feels like two different concerts are playing while a family fights, and one lone person is screaming out a todo list.
Trust me, we are not misdiagnosed and we need treatment to be able to function. Sparkly shiny brain is okay when you’re a kid but when you’re missing payments on bills, have no clean clothes to wear, and are having a panic attack cause you’re late to work, it’s not okay.

My ADHD didn’t start fucking up my life until I stopped bartending because the minute my bills went off autopay and I had to specifically wake up for work there was this downhill avalanche that culminated in me having a full blown panic attack about doing my taxes with one singular extra step. Turns out most of my friends were diagnosed adhd which is why no one around me thought my behavior was off and my most recently diagnosed friend was the one who pushed me to talk to my doctor about a psych rec

As a fellow Bi polar person and not being diagnosed until twenty five even with manic episodes and many suicide attempts. This is by far the worst mental health advice I’ve ever received.
Bipolar hit me around 7th grade. Luckily my mom has bipolar and my dad plain old depression, and both had experienced trying to live without medication, and periods of self-medication, as well as how much better actual medication prescribed by doctors was, and promptly got me treated. A lot of the medication that works for my mom works for me, and I'm fairly stable in that respect. Have had to play with different dosages a few times, but the meds keep working for me, at least so far.
Funnily enough, my half-brother has bipolar as well. We did some genetic testing a while back, looking at some genes linked with it. I was homozygous for one gene variant, my brother was homozygous for another, and, as you'd expect, my mom was heterozygous for both. Meaning our bipolar was the "fault" of everyone involved in our conception, lol. (Note: I don't actually blame them for it.) What are the bloody odds?

I think Repzion watched House too. He knew about Kayser-Fleisher rings which were brought up in one episode where a woman thought to be suffering from schizophrenia was in fact suffering from copper toxicity due to undiagnosed Wilson's Disease.

I’ve never heard of this episode and I’ve heard of this happening to real people or people who genuinely believed this happen. In experience copper iud tend to be more harsh than others. It also for some makes cycles worse. IUDs for many other reasons can cause a lot of very serious issues. There’s no guarantee that the iud is where it supposed to be ans can stab your uterine lining which could lead to severe complications. Now in terms of Joy I don’t know and I can’t speak for her. The copper IUD does cause problems for some and I have heard the copper toxicity can happen. She probably should not have had it so long OR her fevers an pain are indicative that it could have been stabbing her uterine lining which is very common. There are lawsuits over the Paraguard I’ve seen on Facebook. She should have gotten a copper test. I don’t know anything about Joy or her health issues just know these can cause a lot of issues.

That's not actually how medicine works. You can be at an increased risk for things, but you can't be "near seizure." You're either having a seizure or you're not. Hell, with that logic, we're all "near seizure."
I once had a seizure so bad I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. Hearing stuff like that from her pisses me off.
This IO have to agree with 100%...I think she has severe anxiety and she is describing elevated heart rates due to a panic attack. Still enough cause for concern but throwing near next to those more severe life threatening terms definitely adds an extra layer of drama...

Kris As someone who's been diagnosed with seizures, I don't understand the logic behind 'almost seizures'. It's not like you can 'feel it coming' and then act like 'oH THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE'. Whenever I had seizures I had absolutely *_no recollection_* of it happening and absolutely no warning. If I never had any family member witnesses, I would've never known I had this disorder.

That’s y there r so many misdiagnoses where Drs think that teenagers being rail thin, unable to eat yet vomiting, have eating disorders. It must be terrible to go through, and I’m incredibly grateful my parents believed me telling them how much pain I was in back when being diagnosed (when I was 13)

I have a different chronic illness that can result in chronic pain and fatigue, albeit not quite as bad as fibro. Yeah, it sucks. Pain is a surprisingly large factor in that, in my experience. Pain is really tiring, even when you don't really notice it (unless it flares up badly, of course). Until and unless it goes away, and then you realize how much pain you were really in. Had that happen when I started taking an anti-inflammatory regularly. God, that was a good feeling.

As someone who has fibromyalgia, depression and mood disorders plus endometriosis - all medically diagnosed, I saw right thru her BS very early on. For someone who claims to have fibro fog all the time and is exhausted constantly, she sure has a lot of energy to make so many videos. I barely have the energy to get out of bed most days, let alone make a youtube video on subjects that you're meant to have done research on! A
When you have fibro and all the other surrounding illnesses (fibromyalgia is nearly always accompanied with chronic fatigue and depression, at the very least) and you've spent time in support groups and been around other fibro sufferers for a long time, it becomes very easy to spot the people who are faking it (for whatever dumb reason). I don't know why anyone would want to pretend to be this sick, the fibro illnesses have destroyed my life, I'm under 40 yrs old but I life the life of a 90 yr old. You constantly feel like you've got the worst hangover ever and you're in constant pain, with weird side effects like the sensation of water hitting in the shower is actually painful, the pressure of heavy blankets or clothes feel like they are tonne of bricks on top of you. Why would you fake feeling like that?? Oh and because it's an 'invisible' illness, you get no sympathy from anyone, in fact you get the opposite, you get told that fibro isn't real and that you're just fucked in the head. But honestly the amount of shit you go thru with fibro, you do end up fucked in the head!
But anyways just wanted to say my piece on the all the BS that is Joy sparkles BS!!

Dr. Sandra Lee literally removed a ligoma on the back of the neck which is placed in a "difficult" location, with ease. Garlic and onion, by the way, don't clean up cysts. A good removal of the topical keratin, sac, and sebum, is the easiest way to remove it.
Lmao! Non-cancerous tumor doesn't always mean a cyst though. My mom has an encapsulated tumor, which is essentially a non-cancerous tumor.

Perhaps she means a panic attack? I know that when I (and other anxious ppl around me) experience one it can make you feel like your heart is about to stop. Not literally, and likely the sensation is far from a real heart attack, stroke, etc. But the brain jumps to very dire conclusions when afraid.
Mini strokes or pre strokes are an actual thing though and can be a precursor to real strokes. Can happen from things like having extra hormones from birth control, it happened to my sister. But I've never heard of a near heart attack.
I've had mini strokes. They are a real thing. My blood pressure has registered at 256/159 and I have been in hypertensive crises and have had mini strokes before. Basically, it just means the blood supply is cut off from the brain for a short period of time leading to a mini stroke, rather than for a considerable length of time leading to a more substantial stroke which can cause permanent damage to the brain. Mini stokes feel just like more substantial strokes but don't last as long since the blood supply to the brain is restored. However, I do not believe Joy had had one. If she had, she would know it for sure as she would have hauled her ass to the ER very quickly. She hasn't described a mini stroke accurately, in my opinion. I also have permanent damage to my face (Bell's Palsy) as a result. It's not as noticeable now but I can still see it because it's my face. If she was truly having mini strokes often, there would be some lasting effect from having multiple mini strokes. I also have damage to my heart from very high blood pressure. I now have an extra beat as a result and I've experienced chest pains as a result and have NEVER confused them for heart attack. I'm calling bullshit on the "almost" heart attacks!

Yes, most prescription bottles or packs (as we have here in the UK) will come with a little typed up label with instructions on how to take and the patient name etc. What she had was a label that was too big for the bottle, wrapped around the bottle clumsily and handwritten. No way was done by a professional chemist.

So triggering for survivors of these heinous acts and she used it as clickbait to grow her channel. The like to dislike ratio as well as the comment section suggests I'm not the only one who's annoyed.
Conclusion: I want to her to get better and do her best however, I can't be there for the journey because of how triggering her content has become in a matter of weeks after her return. Good day to everyone 😊

ugh i'm a mental health worker and it sickens me that people actually came up with and follow this Indigo Children b.s. I can't even imagine how some of my people would fare if everyone had that attitude. The most disturbing piece of this, which really scares me, is that if you aren't diagnosed with disorders like autism as a child it's near impossible to be diagnosed and receive treatment as an adult (in NYS anyway). They usually diagnose these things when people are kids and I have tried to get adults diagnosed before so they could get services for these things and it's basically like banging your head into a wall over and over. I called about 50 times and never received a response from the agency that does it here. So these kids that grow up with parents that decide they're going to do things their way will suffer as adults too because of the idiots that raised them. So fucking sad.

Holy shit I knew this person in real life. Granted it was back in 2007-2008ish. She was a vocal music teacher at the School of Rock I went to. She was always super fun, and nice to hang out with and from what I knew everyone liked her as a teacher. I remember a time where I was rather intimidated to try out singing. She told me a story about how when she was a girl she signed up for a talent show, and about how often she was teased for being overweight and never combing her hair. She told me, she told herself to go out and do it, and that was all that mattered. Ive always taken that advice, in what matters is that you do what you want to do/try new things regardless of what people think. So it's sad to see her be this person. It's sad to see someone rant about crazy pseudoscience and be such a huge liar. I do remember seeing on Facebook her post about her struggling with illness, and I had wished her well. I think it's good to call these people out it's just sad to see where someone you looked up to in someway as a kid, turn out to be awful.
3 years later and Joy has come back to TH-cam. She hasn't changed, if anything she became worse. She posts at least 3 videos and day and recently has made a lot of videos related to EC. I personally havent watched the vids but the titles are so obviously clickbait, its gross.
She would benefit a lot if she stopped hyper focusing on every tiny sensation she felt in her body, especially if she does have Fibromyalgia. Its a chronic pain and fatigue condition. I have it. If she approached it by not focusing so much on pain or exhaustion, or constantly analyzing/diagnosing herself, flying into states of panic as that certainly will feel like a heart attack, living chaotically instead of creating a daily routine and sticking to it, accepting she can't do all the things she used to be able to do in a day, getting enough sleep, reducing stress by all means including disengaging from dramatic situations or creating dramatic situations, avoiding behaviors and situations that elicit extreme emotions at all costs - she would probably become a more stable person. When I hear someone admit they constantly go to the ER and "the doctors can't figure it out", those are huge warning flags. First of all, ER doctors are not necessarily specialty doctors. If there was something wrong with her heart, she should be saying she saw a cardiologist, if she has fibromyalgia, she should have mentioned she has seen a rheumatologist. Lastly, doctors will not discharge you if they suspect you had a near-stroke or a near-heart attack without getting to the bottom of it. Sounds like they said there was nothing wrong and she chose to take that as "they couldn't figure it out". Again, ER doctors are trained for medical emergencies, not diseases that doctors trained in specialties can treat. Fibromyalgia is not a medical emergency. It is however a diagnosis of elimination. A rheumatologist or immunologist can rule out all the other diseases that cause symptoms similar to fibromyalgia like SLE Lupus, Lyme disease, other autoimmmune disorders, etc. Once all of those are ruled out, then the diagnosis of fibromyalgia is given. There's a lot missing from her story. Also going to the ER in itself is stressful and fibromyalgia is exacerbated by stress. I'm confused. Or maybe its because of she's vibrating on a different astral plane from me. lol I'm sure that's it.

I say this because I have known several other people who made up illnesses using "rare diagnosis'" from House. I have looked for it ever since. IDK when someone tells me they have an illness that was featured on House as something rare I get suspicious.

I remember this episode! It wasn't copper toxicity, it was a copper allergy. The IUD became embedded in her tissue and constant, long-term exposure led to her developing a severe allergy. Because it was still inside her, she was basically in a constant state of allergic reaction. So, still definitely no copper toxicity from IUDs, even on television lol
