The round thing that replaces the gearbox is called tourque-converter. Tourque-vectoring is a feature, that independetly changes the tourque to each driven wheel.

In 2019, when Koenigsegg Jesko was introduced, this car was capable of reaching 300 mph. Some cars like Ford GT did just that, but severely modified that it was in the same year when Jesko was introduced. When Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ broke 300 mph barrier (304.773 mph), me & probably Koenigsegg didn't see this coming, but it only went one directional run, and it was a pre-production & heavily modified car too so it doesn't qualifies as The Fastest Production Car. So, in 2020, Koenigsegg introduced the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut. Jesko Absolut is only about top speed, while the other is focused on the track version that has spoilers. I would think that Jesko Absolut can reach beyond 311 mph, but it was never tested. Some would say that it could reach 330 or shockingly 350 mph, but for me, I'd say more than 311 mph. I'm hoping they'll do it again on the Nevada Highway like they did for Agera RS in 2017. SSC Tuatara did reach for 316 mph in Nevada Highway, too. However, it was fake later on. Two years later, they've done it again for the top speed. It was 282 mph. It was successful, but not the fastest production car, tho because it was not homologated, and did not do two directional run. *As of 2024, Koenigsegg Jesko is now in production for two types of Jesko. Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut did however broke the 0-400-0 record for 27.83 seconds, breaking Koenigsegg Regera record last year. I would think Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut will do the top speed later this year or next year, while SSC & Hennessey is attempting to reach 300 mph car.
I feel like a lot of people overlook the fact that the SS 300+ did actually make it into semi-production, they tested it and made it an official production car, though only 30 units were made, the normal SS was the luxurious one meant for weekly drives (Because who daily drives a bugatti) despite that, without the limiter, it can apparently reach almost 310 mph, by calculation
@@Homelanderpoison666 You also probably don't have an idea about what you're talking about. They are able to reach 0-250 mph in the jesko absolut in 18.79 seconds which is stupidly fast compared to the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ which does it in 20 seconds.

The Regera uses both Converting and vectoring. The footage shown was for b roll purpose. Not to showcase how vectoring works. If you are wanting in depth details about the regara you are watching the wrong video

Actually it will stop as far as top speed is considered. Christian said himself the reason to stop chasing top speed is because you hit a point to where it's not even practical anymore because of 2 main factors, for one you need to find a driver experienced and willing to pilot the car that fast and 2nd you need to have a long enough road to do it
Thing is, no one speaks about anything else but the fastest car in the world, the first thing a kid searches is "fastest car in the world" and that is the SS300+, Koenigsegg HAVE TO make and run a car that can beat that
A lot is considered before a car is considered to be the fastest mainly the reason why many cars cant reach 300+ is mostly drag if a car produces enough drag the car will get slower and heavier the tires will end up overheating and losing grip and if it doesnt have enough Tq to support the weight of the car youll be limited by an invisible barrier thats why most cars from Dyno’s have different track results from their runs

Christian Königsegg is probably the most ingenious car designer. With his relatively small team, he creates fast and agile cars that surpass the performance of all other 'hypercar' manufacturers such as Bugatti (too heavy), Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, etc. I'm excited to see whether Red Bull can keep up with the recently introduced RB17.
Christian Van Koenigsegg has said that the car is ready for it and they are just waitng for tyres that are capable of doing 500 kph + as mchelin is constantl innovating on makng the cup 2 r tyre safe and capable enough of reaching such speeds so i believe the top speed run is coming very soon
well 520 kmh is the theoretical speed it can reach, koenigsegg is still waiting for the right tyre to be able to witdthstand the heat and pressure as well as the durability of the tyre, time will tell

It will (probably) be their fastest car made. Its named after his father, its supposed to hold a legacy thats why he came out and said that its going to be the fastest car they will ever make. But who knows, only the future can show us what will and what won't be
The one:1 was a 2014 production car not a 2016 , and nfs movie had agera r models not the agera , btw agera s appeared in 2012 , agera r is older than the s model because s was influenced by it.

Got the balls to do it. There's some cars that are waiting for an attempt to do it, like Hennessey Venom F5 and SSC Tuatara (They did do it, but didn't reach 300 mph).
Forza says the production year is 2015. The manufacturing did start in 2014 though. I usually use Forza for the production year because they're 100% accurate 😅 One of the biggest misconceptions for the Koenigsegg One:1 is its top speed. It's limited to 245MPH by gearing. The silver and rhd one:1 has been shown to have the same gearing. This is also a little known fact I'll share another interesting one! The only RHD One:1 is also modified, the turbos on it are bigger. So it makes more power. Because the One:1 fell short of its goals at Vmax, it outputs 1,450 Hp. Another fun fact is like the Chimera, there is another Agera which has One:1 engine upgrades. Which puts it at 1,400 Hp.
You know what’s even crazier about this. Watching the normal Chiron and the jesko and the regera 0-400-0 side by side the jesko barely passes the regera in distance but the Chiron was far ahead by 300 meters almost going at lesser speeds. You can see the distance of the cars and the speed measure by mph and meters. It’s insane.in a dig race the Chiron is winning all the way to 2000 meters and the Chiron ss 300 is even faster.it even pulls harder on the jesko from 230 mph to 256 and catches it right before it brakes
I think the issue is that the closer you are to Mach 1. The more air resistance you will have even with an extremely low coefficient. They also need sufficient amount of downforce to keep the tires on the road and stable at that speed. However I think it's possible to have the fastest production car but a huge risk. Let's see 2025 or 2026

There are limitations for hitting top speed over 330mph on a production car, atleast with our current technology. 👉 A simulator/dyno may say good numbers on the screen, but real world is a different ball games. There are too many factors that a simulator just can't imitate.. 👉 You may say top speed dragster cars and jet powered cars can go faster. Sure they can, but they are pretty much single use cars and require jaw droppings amount of money to repair and run again. No to mention these cars don't want to meet road legality regulations and emission norms. 👉 Simply adding power & torque can't give you good top Speed. For every 5+ km/h speed gain you need to cook up atleast twice of privious added horses.. In short; To break 200mph ferrari f40 needed 477hp, then to break 250+ mph buggati vyron needed 1001hp. Nearly twice horse power to go 50mph faster than previously. And it is believed for a car to break 300mph it will take around 1700 hp (∆100) to comfortably reach that speed. 👉 No car has more than 2300hp ( 2300hp figure claimed by Koenigsegg in there gemera v8 car ) yet in a production car. It's believed to go faster than 330mph you need more than 2300hp 👉 Power, torque, weight, drag are not just the factors that effect your top speed; factors like better aerodynamic stability at very highspeed, good smooth track, capable tyre that can withstand that much temperature & Pressure, good crosswind, long enough road, very good & brave driver, car's overall rigidity & stability in top speed, etc. 👉The real issue is cooling things down & the consequences of doing that. The established method for cooling down the excessive heat an engine produces is by channelling the vast quantity of air that rushes past the vehicle as it moves over the hot parts to strip away the excess heat. It's a simple and elegant solution; the faster you travel the more you need to cool, and the faster you go the more air you are provided with. It’s perfect - except for the drag that’s produced. 👉Then there is that tyre factor, The rotational forces involved at these speeds force the rubber to warp out of shape and eventually shred apart due to massive centrifugal force, heat generated by friction and pressure exerted by down force of the car. Non-road legal land speed record vehicles do not use tyres at all and instead have solid metal rims or have non legal specialized tyres to do the job, but that is not an option on a road legal car. 👉 Our current technology doesn't produce a tyre good enough for this level of speed, engine powerful enough, and few more drawbacks.... Like cooling systems and managing drag along with down force. 👉 Koenigsegg jesko, Hennessey f5, SSC tutara, buggati Chiron 300+ and Bugatti bolide all are quite capable machines for sure. So I won't say it will be only Koenigsegg that will be the king of top speed. There will always be someone to break the record.

Tuatara did reach 295mph, they can drfinitrly do 300mph but just dont have the road for it.
chiron super sport was not heavily modified it has extra cooling, stripped out interior,slight tweeks to his aero not hugely modified

Well 200km isn’t practical why stop? Koenigsegg got known for their speed and acceleration why stop what they’re best at.

@WittoWilson I hate when some articles, videos, news, or media misinformation about the cars top speed or some stuff that pisses me off. I would believe Koenigsegg got the guts... or let me say this. Got the balls to do it. There's some cars that are waiting for an attempt to do it, like Hennessey Venom F5 and SSC Tuatara (They did do it, but didn't reach 300 mph).
Forza says the production year is 2015. The manufacturing did start in 2014 though. I usually use Forza for the production year because they're 100% accurate 😅
One of the biggest misconceptions for the Koenigsegg One:1 is its top speed. It's limited to 245MPH by gearing. The silver and rhd one:1 has been shown to have the same gearing. This is also a little known fact I'll share another interesting one! The only RHD One:1 is also modified, the turbos on it are bigger. So it makes more power. Because the One:1 fell short of its goals at Vmax, it outputs 1,450 Hp. Another fun fact is like the Chimera, there is another Agera which has One:1 engine upgrades. Which puts it at 1,400 Hp.

Torque vectoring had NOTHING to do with the Regera. It isn't a Jess-ko it is pronounced Yes-Ko.
Yes it does, look it up. Also Yesko is only pronounced that way due to a swedish accent, it can be pronounced with a J otherwise.

You know what’s even crazier about this. Watching the normal Chiron and the jesko and the regera 0-400-0 side by side the jesko barely passes the regera in distance but the Chiron was far ahead by 300 meters almost going at lesser speeds. You can see the distance of the cars and the speed measure by mph and meters. It’s insane.in a dig race the Chiron is winning all the way to 2000 meters and the Chiron ss 300 is even faster.it even pulls harder on the jesko from 230 mph to 256 and catches it right before it brakes

I think the issue is that the closer you are to Mach 1. The more air resistance you will have even with an extremely low coefficient. They also need sufficient amount of downforce to keep the tires on the road and stable at that speed. However I think it's possible to have the fastest production car but a huge risk. Let's see 2025 or 2026

There are limitations for hitting top speed over 330mph on a production car, atleast with our current technology.
👉 A simulator/dyno may say good numbers on the screen, but real world is a different ball games. There are too many factors that a simulator just can't imitate..
👉 You may say top speed dragster cars and jet powered cars can go faster. Sure they can, but they are pretty much single use cars and require jaw droppings amount of money to repair and run again. No to mention these cars don't want to meet road legality regulations and emission norms.
👉 Simply adding power & torque can't give you good top Speed. For every 5+ km/h speed gain you need to cook up atleast twice of privious added horses..
In short; To break 200mph ferrari f40 needed 477hp, then to break 250+ mph buggati vyron needed 1001hp. Nearly twice horse power to go 50mph faster than previously. And it is believed for a car to break 300mph it will take around 1700 hp (∆100) to comfortably reach that speed.
👉 No car has more than 2300hp ( 2300hp figure claimed by Koenigsegg in there gemera v8 car ) yet in a production car. It's believed to go faster than 330mph you need more than 2300hp
👉 Power, torque, weight, drag are not just the factors that effect your top speed; factors like better aerodynamic stability at very highspeed, good smooth track, capable tyre that can withstand that much temperature & Pressure, good crosswind, long enough road, very good & brave driver, car's overall rigidity & stability in top speed, etc.
👉The real issue is cooling things down & the consequences of doing that. The established method for cooling down the excessive heat an engine produces is by channelling the vast quantity of air that rushes past the vehicle as it moves over the hot parts to strip away the excess heat. It's a simple and elegant solution; the faster you travel the more you need to cool, and the faster you go the more air you are provided with. It’s perfect - except for the drag that’s produced.
👉Then there is that tyre factor, The rotational forces involved at these speeds force the rubber to warp out of shape and eventually shred apart due to massive centrifugal force, heat generated by friction and pressure exerted by down force of the car. Non-road legal land speed record vehicles do not use tyres at all and instead have solid metal rims or have non legal specialized tyres to do the job, but that is not an option on a road legal car.
👉 Our current technology doesn't produce a tyre good enough for this level of speed, engine powerful enough, and few more drawbacks.... Like cooling systems and managing drag along with down force.
👉 Koenigsegg jesko, Hennessey f5, SSC tutara, buggati Chiron 300+ and Bugatti bolide all are quite capable machines for sure. So I won't say it will be only Koenigsegg that will be the king of top speed. There will always be someone to break the record.
