It's funny how Bugatti has been here for basically a century, and Koenigsegg absolutely obliterates the speed record with basically half a bugatti engine, literally.
The F1 was never designed for topspeed in mind, it was simply a unintentional byproduct of what it was.
Makes the McLaren F1 even more impressive when you think about it😮💨
Been keeping up with you for a long time, love to see the ghost squadron love. Perfect early christmas gift sitting down and watching this after cleaning all day.
And now the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is expected to go 330+ mph. It sadly hasn't been tested yet.
Merry Christmas 337
Same to you and your family🙏🏽
Hands down the best modern car history channel on TH-cam. You just get better and better man.
Christmas came early, I've been waiting for a video on my favorite super/hypercar manufacturer. Merry Christmas man!
Great Video. Enjoyed every second of it. Would love to see more of lesser known cars like The Gumpert Apollo for example.
That’s a good one!
The Gumpert would be cool. I would be interested to know what happened to the small production volume cars that Top Gear would test. Do the companies still exist?
@@bmstylee Gumpert sort of does, some chinese company bought it after it went Bankrupt and now is only known as Apollo. They Built the Intensa Emozione.
@@spoondude2025 ok. Stuff like the Ascari, Weissmam and Zenvo were really cool cars that probably don't exist anymore.
Seeing as how you’ve mentioned the McLaren F1…Why not make a dedicated video to it😊
Excellent video and history, your channel deserves millions of suscribers, keep the good work !
Man this video is soooo good, I threw it in the tv in Christmas dinner and everyone was staring at the TV. Keep them coming.
TV by the dinner table, you american?
The insane thing about Koenigsegg cars, is that it not only beat the land speed record, but it could also theoretically make good laps in tracks because of that power to weight ratio, compared to buggatti's fatter car.
This cat has bars. So many quotable lines for me and my motorheads.
Thanks for the videos!
A 337 Speed upload on Christmas Eve? Best gift this year for me. 👌🏽
It's a little bit misleading when you say that Volkswagen owns all those companies you mentioned. Yes, it's actually the Volkswagen GROUP BUT they actually don't have majority control .The majority owner in the Volkswagen group is actually Porsche.
The production value in this video is unmatched, informal, entertaining, and down right perfect, you are going places my dude, not that my opinion matters much but keep going my dude, great things are coming
The burning of his factory is basically life telling him to look at a different angle, and instead of joining other manufacturers, why not make your own legacy while deviating the usual things while still leaving the world in awe of your creations... And 20 years later, we see technology in Koenigsegg cars which we dont even see in many of the known brands out there!
koenigsegg is so mindblowing that it quickly took ferrari's place as my all time favorite car, and that's a hellava feat because ferrari been my favorite since childhood. but when i saw photos of the cc8s, the short compact length and wide body with the cab forward design was extremely desirable!
this is a great Christmas present, kudos to you and your amazing channel!
Give it up to 337 speed for these amazing videos, shouting out from Houston tx🤘🏾
Welcome back and merry Christmas 👋🙃
Koenigksegg Jesko Absolute will rewrite the record 😌🔥👌
One of the most interesting car videos I've came across on TH-cam. Amazingly done and thank you!
Glorious video, keep up the good work
Dude if anyone has ever watched Mustard videos for aviation vids this is like the automotive version of mustard and thats not a bad thing at all. Both of you have insane production quality and i enjoy waiting for you guys to upload because its always worth it. Amazing video Jay!🤝
The McLaren F1 is still one of the most beautiful cars ever.
Will always still be the fastest na car ❤
I agree!
Just got to see one in person, it’s tiny lol. In pictures it looks bigger.
Not one of. The F1 is the most beautiful car
Seriously, with modern head/tail lights, it would look brand new.
If it wouldn't absolutely kill the value, I'd love to see someone resto-mod one
Man I have been hunting your channel for new content keep it coming bro I love your channel
Great vid. These are well made
This channel made me fall inlove with the anatomy of cars from their history to how each engine part can change the performance entirely because of how you explain and produce your videos. And 9/10 these legendary engines and cars were born from an experiment that failed few times. I was was wait for so many months for new video. Would love love to know what made Mitsubishi Evo and WRX subaru both legendary rally monsters
You completely forgot the Jesko, which the CC850 more or less owes its existence. The progression through the Agera series timeline was a little odd as well.
Otherwise, very good.
Your videos just go hard. Love the work!
Hey bro. You put out some kick ass content. Big fan
337. Ironically my lucky 3 digit number.
I don’t know man, that jesko definitely is faster, but then there’s the hennessey f5, and even bugatti took a page out of koeniseggs book and made that bolide, which is insane, and if it’s aero was removed, I’d reckon it could be even faster than the jesko/f5
Amazing video! Appreciate the manufacturing information you have provided
Koenigsegg is one of those manufacturers that keep building masterpieces
That nobody wants
@@chalkandcheese1868 Cause they're dumb
@@chalkandcheese1868 A Koenigsegg costs SEK 30 million. Not many Swedes can buy such a car or you. The order book is fully booked, you have to wait until the next car model.
@@tomeng9520 They've sold like 100 cars in 30 years mate, and you never see them anywhere, ever. Bugatti has sold over 700 in 20 years
@@chalkandcheese1868 Koenigsegg I've seen plenty, but Bugatti I haven't seen a single one.
And that doesn't mean a s***.
Between 377 Speed and The Squidd, they are the only reasons why I watch car content on TH-cam these day!
Also I'm a Koenigsegg fanboy lol
I watch the Squidd religiously, he can tell a story so well I burn through an hour like it’s nothing😂
Hell yeah, dude. I have to ration 337's and Squidd's videos so I don't consume all of the best car content at once. But it is damn hard
Keep doing videos bro. U got good flow, visuals, easy to follow etc. Gkod job 👊
Christian Von koenigsegg is an Artist & an Engineer at the same time.
I would absolutely love him to show me round one of his cars. His passion & expertise is phenomenal
Dude this editing is so cool looking
280+ mph sounds absolutely terrifying, i can understand going for the coveted fastest production car title but these hyper cars have well passed any practical usage scenarios i can imagine, but i guess people dont spend that kind of money on a vehicle for practical purposes anyway.
The word "practical" is thrown-around too much.
I really enjoyed this video! We all know Koenigsegg is just waiting for someone to excite them enough to actually put the Jesko into record attempts. Rimac excited Koenigsegg enough to break out the Regera.
Started following a few days ago and I believe I've finished nearly every video 🤣🤣
I had no idea that's where the Ghost came from, that's insanely badass
As a Japanese car enthusiast, I really wish JAPAN had a hyper car automobile to compete
Yeah the Nissan R390 and the Lexus LFA was top tier imo
I'm dreaming of Mazda doing a road version of the 787b *drools*
@@337speed the LFA is a super car IMO the best car ever made from Japan. But I think a hyper car is definitely over 1000 hp with top speeds above 230mph. I wonder if the Japanese government is keeping Japanese auto makers from creating vehicles like this?
@@Toyota4LifeI wouldn’t be surprised if they are. With a societal shift to eco friendliness.
Aspark Owl
This channel is getting more impressive all the time. It might be the Koenigsegg of TH-cam car channels
Journalism at its finest. Every detail, schematic and pedigree introduced at their most optimal times during editing and cool demeanor. @337speed... You that dude.
My favorite and most informative car channels
Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut will definitely beat Chiron SS 300+ and honestly we have no idea what the TT v8 Gemera gonna do....
Absolutely love these videos!
Always such an interesting watch
Got a random question, whats the process behind getting all of the footage?
Amazing video! Would you mind dropping your sources to some of the videos of the cars? For example the vids of the dynos and the video of the CCXR driving on the airfield?
What Christian has created in a very short amount of time is nothing short of amazing! The cars speak for themselves but as a brand its like you are talking to a friend in your garage about your project car and you are just shootin the......stuff. i have seen Christian at different car events and he is just one of the guys that will engage in conversation with anybody and not always about cars either!!! Do what you love to do and you will never work a day in your life
Koenigsegg has always been my fav once I've seen the agera through the nfs movie 😅. It was from their on i gazed at Christian's wonderful creations with mind blowing innovations. Im sure Koenigsegg will manage through and continue smashing the records of others!
Excellent presentation even better subject matter. I can't imagine actually traveling that fast. 👍
Always love your videos. Do you have anything coming up for the 86, BRZ & F-RS? Really dig those little cars. Very well balanced. They have quite a large following. I'd like to learn more, as this channel is an excellent resource
Oh man a Koenigsegg vid near Christmas lets go
Nice video, but I was hoping it would cover all models up to the Gemera with 2300 HP. The multi-clutch gearbox is another invention that also is an example of "thinking outside the box", just like many other inventions by Koenigsegg.
By far the BEST MOTOR SPORT CHANNEL EVER 💯
I can't say how much I love you your love videos, keep it up. Beautiful content ❤️❤️❤️
The F1 is still the world's fastest N/A car. Let's not forget that.
Don't worry the F1 can smoke it on track.
@@stevendavis6157 refer to my original comment. It's still the world's fastest all motor car and probably will be be until the end of time.
To be clear it beat the McLaren in 1 metric. If you have ever spent any time with these cars you’d realize that is the only category in which the McLaren was bested. Even a modern Koeniggsegg isn’t as nicely built as something like a McLaren 720S.
There are very well documented vids(from well known youtuber's) stating and showing McLaren's build quality is not much better than normal everyday cars like toyota and such.
You are funny, take your medicine.
Congrats on 337,000 subs!
All well done video, great storys and great script
Nobody beat the McLaren F1. It still holds the record for fastest NATURALLY ASPIRATED car. All these cars that came after it needed turbo chargers and superchargers.
McLaren is still King.
The McLaren F1 has a V12.
The Bugatti has W16.
The Koniggseg has a V8.
Do the math
Incredibly well done video. Subscribed. 👌🏼 🔥
Great video.
Excellent video footage.
You're videos are always top notch and unparalleled. I hope to see you grow as a channel but never forget your roots brotha. ❤
The information is so educative ...thanks
very interesting love the video and the stats well explained and to the point thank you
looking out for more of your excellent videos.
Surprisingly informative vid, thanks man!
Amazing! I've never watched detailed drafts about the Bentley Hunaudieres, and never realised how similar it was to the Veyron, design wise, both interior an exterior!
Man its been a while since i watched a vid and man I love this.
