I'm trying to mod both the deva outfit and the aura and I followed step by step from your video, but when I load up my game the outfit is fine, but the aura ends up a weird pink and yellow color... help pls :c if it helps you I wanted to change the outfit to the baseball costume and the aura to butterfly wings.
ok so with things that come in a set the the Deva aura, stinger tail, Lycan sorrow, etc. you will only need to mod the Skelton for the adornments. the outfit still requires the material but the other parts do not

+AwkwardsTurtles well the butterfly wings aren't in the NA client so you do need to have the material/texture crap (there's a ton... I hate those wings). you can easily go off of my Lycan sorrow to butterfly wings mod since I only edited the skeleton for those. all the other 8+ files in that folder are unedited but necessary for the wings top work since those files are in some way used/referenced starting from the skelton x-x
if i want to change the col numbers (base outfit is col1 and i want to change it to an outfit thats col3), do i need to replace ALL the col#'s in the hex editor or only one? i tried changing all the col1's to col3's but i got the garbled texture thing so im not sure which ones exactly im supposed to replace edit: aaa nevermind i rewatched the tutorial and i got it right this time, sorry for the bother and tysm for your tutorial!!!

when you end up with a blue hongmoon weapon it means it's a problem with the core number. for bangles they usually have a long list of core numbers in the skeleton. you need to change all of them

you probably did something that messed up the core number length. changing a small core number to a long number will cause an overflow and result in the game crashing when it tries to read the file
are you trying to put the hair version on to a wig? hairs have shorter core numbers than wigs, so trying to write the new long core over it will cause a buffer overflow and cause the game to crash when it tries to read the file. there is a way to work around it, but it's a bit more advanced. I might make a guide for it over my break
+Keksiily you haven't given much information to help debug your problem. Both work perfectly fine for me whether I use the tool or do it by hand. I don't know exactly what you're doing so I can't help solve your problem without more information
warriorgriffinheart I used BnSTool at first to replace Custom Gangplank Style with Widow Wig model on my Jin female. Everytime I try to start the game from that point on it freezes and crashes at the character screen when I'm selecting my character with Custom GP style. Then I tried it with hexediting after your guide and exactly the same thing happens. I always put them in C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT\BnS\contents\Local\NCWEST\ENGLISH\CookedPC\mod After deleting them the game works fine again. Would be much appreciated if you could give me the file that works for you if you have time

Dagger to dagger works as explained in this video. Dagger to sword does not work because the core numbers have different character lengths (daggers are formatted #####_1_autoscale and swords are #####_autoscale)

no, it's contents/bns/cookedpc. you're looking in the local folder

+Cuki Pwi go through the one click tool to try to find it. if it's not there you can try opening every skeleton in umodel to look at it.
