My goat was also home grown, a friend raises one every year, he slaughters it and brings it to me and I butcher it. I take a leg quarter as payment. Great job on that goat. Thumbs up! Y 170? Shouldn't it be 200?
I did 170° because I wanted to slice this meat. I would've gone up to 200 if I wanted to shred or pull it apart

I actually have not tried it that low... That would prolly leave it medium in the middle, which might actually be delicious!
