I think it is one of the nicest looking helmets out there. I like the looks so much that I got the black and the white one. However, I could never get the straps to be comfortable. Too tight and they are uncomfortable and I loosen them up and the flap when descending. I hate mushroom looking helmets like the poc so I got this Lazer. I am going to sell them. Any ideas on what to get that doesn't look like a mushroom? Lol
It sounds like the Lazer helmets might not be a good fit for you. I'd recommend trying out the Smith Trace or Bell XR Spherical helmet - I think both are sleeker than some of the wider POC helmets.
I assumed all helmets fit the same. I know now that's not the case. I think I may try either the Giro aries or the Giro eclipse. Thanks for the response. Keep up the great videos!
That looks way too loose if that is your size, which is sad considering that is a gripe of mine with the Bullet 2.0. The straps also look to be the same and not the proper 'triangle design' like Specialized and others who keep the straps nice and tight against the skin and secure under the ear.
I've found the ScrollSys belt to be really easy to adjust. It's a big surface area so you can find it easily. The previous RollSys top dials were much harder since they were small and had a lot of resistance.
@@cincydooley As far as which one to choose- I think the Vento is the more attractive one while the Strada makes more financial sense. The aero benefits are negligible for normal riders but if you can get the Vento on sale it can make you feel fast.
@@TheSweetCyclists Thanks! The profile really is similar. I snatched one of the Stradas in the LE WvA color that just got announced…. If I like it I may have to grab a vento too. Somehow you have the exact same collection of Helmets it i do, so this was super useful. Lol. (POC Ventral and Smith Trace)
I think the problem with white helmet they turn yellow with time 😅
You experienced that ?

@@jonathan_guerrero late to the party but can confirm that Smith helmets are good for oval shaped heads.
@@TheSweetCyclistsMet helmets are what you're looking for. I currently have the Met Rivale. If you want an aero helmet, go for the Met Manta.

I haven't had an issue with the fit (secure but not restrictive), but haven't ridden with a Specialized helmet to compare the strap positions.
How easy is that to adjust while riding?

how hot is this on your head? is the ventilation good?
It's been great for me. The helmet doesn't look that ventilated but with the open center section and focused side vents it flows air pretty well.
How do you think the Strada compares to this? Obviously the price point is very different, so curious what you think.
Lol. I should have waited til the end of the video. Lol.

what size is your head
I believe my head size is 58cm. This Medium sized Vento fits just as well as Medium in other brands such as Bell / Smith.
Where can I buy a round fit model in the EU?😂
