God Bless Nigeria,Im born Ghanaian.I was in Nigeria, spent almost 10 years ,I went to Nigeria early 70s Murtala time let early 80s before Ghana must go 83.I love eating amala ,egusi soup, goat meat and hot soup.I was in warri, for job a at the shell drilling company,After 2 years of stay,i left to Lagos,Live at ebute-meta. work with julios Berger...1978 i got a nice job at the Nigeria Railways at apapa lagos.i earn alot.About 300 naira a mouth...Those days 1 naira ,you get 2dollars.Thru nigeria ,i left to USA Later here in Germany. My time,Nigeria was really the Gaint of Africa.Thru mismanage,The once Gaint of Africa, has falling...very Sad
For all the idiots saying why the head, I ask why not? If you are going to kill an animal for food at least respect the animal by eating all the edible parts as possible, let its death mean somehting. Also in the West we eat these odd cuts too, they are just in the form of a burgers, sausages or nuggets. Each to their own i say, respect all cultures.
zedrick zedwick I think by respect he means since the animal has been killed for consumption we might as well consume all parts of the animal so that its death has fulfilled its unfortunate purpose.
The Nigerian pepper I see you use is actually very popular here in Maldives, we use it for making a lot to our foods, it was introduced to us via traders from Africa many centuries ago

Battabox, always quality content. I love your authenticity and thank you for taking the time to put in the subtitles, though while at times confusing, the barrier within the language is what makes this channel so amazing and entertaining to watch. Keep it up!

The butcher has such a charming smile - I can see the chef can really cook cos the finished dish looked lovely - but I would never knowingly eat goat head the thought of it is revolting! All the taste testers seemed to enjoy. Great video. Thanks
I would never sit down and watch a 30 minute cooking video but there's something magical and peaceful about watching this completely different culture from across the world.

Hi, I'm from Slovenia. This was a very good video that really made me feel the real Nigeria, although I haven't been there yet. The local market experience is always the realest thing of every country. Dead heads make me cringe though, we don't eat that where I live, we have all meat nicely cut and pre-prepared so we can avoid the unpleasant part of meat eating - seeing the whole dead animals, especially heads/faces. That makes us somehow hypocritical and very spoiled, because I learned from my African friends that they eat absolutely every part of the animal that is slaughtered and here these uglier parts all go to meat processing industry. But I realize, the African way is much more natural, more sustainable, healthier and more modest. I hope I will learn to cook this too and to break my own limits of a spoiled girl, who thinks 'but what is there to eat on the head?' lol Very well presented, congratulations guys. Lemme check for more of your videos. This was a spectacular foodie adventure ❤️❤️❤️
AaaaaaHHHHHhhhh Lil Papa, this was a GOOOOOOOD video, I really enjoyed this. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like AFRICAN cooking....NOTHING!!!! #AlwaysGotSomeGOODloving2putInTheFood
