Brilliant Rusty, was looking forward to this video when I saw you had ridden the loop. Was disappointed at the random overgrown 100m above Drumloist Road though, last time I rode that it was just a rubbly/cobbly farm track, even felt a little like the Kopparberg with the steep banks either side. You can just follow the wind farm track all the way down and pick up Drumloist Road from the very bottom if you want to avoid the nettles.
Thanks for the route suggestion - did this today ( without the falls of branklin bit at the start, just straight up the road). After all the nice weather the last few days, was disappointingly low cloud today, but was quite atmospheric as the windmills appeared out of the mist 😂
one of the most underrated you tube channels, been really enjoying your content and routes, have to be honest in saying ive pinched a couple, im planning on doing this one on saturday , i hope your getting the credit you deserve from sponsers and products , it must be a utter pain in the ass riding along, planting a camera, and back and forth all the time, you exectute it well in the videos, hopefully bump into you on the trails at some point, keep up the great work
Hey, I am glad you have found some routes you want to tackle, that's exactly why I do these videos! It's a labour of love, no sponsorship or support, just me, Frank the drone and my GoPro. Enjoy the rides! 👍
A brilliant gravel ride. I did the section between Callander and Glen Artney but in reverse earlier this year after riding up route 7 to Lochearnhead and then across to Comrie. Thanks for sharing.
Firstly many thanks Rusty rides gravel. Did this route today and it's truly amazing, real sense of middle of nowhere and exposure in some parts. Thanks to yourself for sharing... you did happen. To loose a frame camera mount did you? I found one just at the wee 100 meter hike a bike section at the windfarm ?
Thank you for your videos love them. You have encouraged me to get out on my old lapierre mountain bike in flat Northamptonshire 😊. I’ve just watched your Broad Law ride which was amazing. Would you consider doing a video on gear to wear?
It's great to hear you are inspired to get out! I love being outdoors. Regarding what to wear, I am not sure I have any authority in that matter, but maybe I can do something. Cheers!
@@RustyRidesGravel you ride out in all weathers so definitely have the experience to rate gear to wear in my eyes. Would really love to see a video on gear 👍😊
That short part with the long grass used to be maintained and cut but recently has been left to go wild. I usually avoid that part now in the summer and only really go that way in the winter when the long grass isn't a problem.
Hi Rusty, another great video, thanks. I must say hello next time I see you walking your dog. One small tip - its pronounced Brayco, not Bracko but you weren't to know !
