Hello! Thank you so much for showing me this video. You're a lifesaver. I have a question though I have created a template using Canva and made my first listing on Etsy but, I am having trouble with using Templett. Would I have to recreate my template on Canva to Templett in order for the customer to use the demo version before purchasing?
Hi Tatyana>> thanks for all the helpful information ... I was wondering if there is a way to control what elements of the templates we sell and share is editable.. I mean, if we can control that the only edit the name or some elements but not the whole thing... thanks in advance
Hi, Tatyana, your tutorials are very helpful! I’m brand new to this…what happens if something goes wrong with the customer’s download? Does that mean that the whole design needs to remade? What are the common problems in digital downloads and how do we avoid them or fix them? Could you do a video on this? Thanks
@@karenb9517 hi Karen! Thanks for your question. Things dont often go wrong with downloads, but when they do I just email my customers their templates directly. I always share a template made from a copy of my original design to prevent losing my hard work in the case that my design is somehow permanently altered by the customer. I’d be happy to make a video going into detail about how to avoid common problems ❤️❤️

@@Arkcov3 you’re welcome! ❤️ If you use Canva pro to make a template, technically the customer doesn’t need Canva pro to access the template BUT they will need Canva pro to actually save their final design to their device. Hi, loving your videos! Question for you. I notice that in this video you don’t “lock” any of the design elements in your shared template, doing so would make them static and uneditable. You could easily just leave the text as editable elements. My concern is that if I leave the entire template as it is, it makes it too easy for another seller to use my design for their store. What are your thoughts on protecting your work via element locking?
@@RoeNC919 hi! Thank you! ❤️That’s a great point! I advertise my templates as “100% customizable” which is why I don’t lock any of my elements.
