Hi Emma!! Etsy ads are good if you are already getting some sales organically in my opinion. Organic sales validate that people actually want the product. Otherwise ads are a waste of money if the product is not validated yet. Does that make sense?

Great question!! I used to get a ton of questions, and that's why I include an instructional sheet now that answers all of them. I very rarely get questions now because of that :). If you research some canva templates on Etsy, you'll see what other creators include. They include instructions in their images and sometimes even a short video on how to use the template / download their prints. Does that help? :)

When a customer purchases my product and then heads over to Canva to edit that product...what if someone else has also bought the template? Can multiple customers edit at the same time? It is the same link so I am confused about that.
I too have the same question. I just sold my first digital template, and the customer is now changing my only copy. Thankfully it is a friend of mine and I was quick to be able to make a copy, which I renamed, and looks as if I am the only one who has access to it. However, as my listing automatically renews on Etsy, will customer #2 be changing what Customer 1 just changed? This part is a bit confusing. Wondering, would I have to copy each template and provide new links for each one? How do you set it up to where each new customer has access to their own template? Seems like it may not be as automated as I thought, so definitely need some expert guidance on this please. Thanks.

I am no professional, and anyone can correct me if I am wrong As far as I know, sellers usually link their canva links as view-only. Then the customer would copy the design on their space, so they can edit those on their end, while you get to keep your design intact and clean!

what if you are selling a bundle. like 1 business card, 1 ebook, 1 insta post. all that as 1 bundle would you make 1 PDF with 3 links or is there a way of having multiple sizes of templates within one file thanks

Hi Kim! Yes 100% I would provide instructions on how to use and print the template. My advice is to look at other shop owners that offer templates and see how they present their instructions in images, videos, etc. Hope that helps!
You should definitely have it if you're using pro! Make sure to click on an image and then check in the menu for smart mockups. It won't work if you select elements

QUESTION: Are the templates linked to the original Canva file? Do buyers lose access to the templates if I decide to close my Canva account? If so, is there a way for buyers to get a master copy of my template so its not dependent to my master template library.

I started selling canva templates and I can do it without the canva PRO. I love even free accounts can have this option.

Hi Sandra, thank for sharing this useful video. I would like to know how to make a front page with your templates sample for clients to see on Etsy. Sellers templates make a presentation for clients see on Etsy. How do I do that? I mean that squares presentation you see on Etsy at first for clients to choose what to buy. Like a showcase haha
Hi Sandra, thank you for all of your specific, step by step information! I am still learning about templates. For clarity, this is what I understand. I have Canva Pro, i create templates and post on Etsy as Canva templates. But the buyers that purchase will need to also have Canva pro to be able to edit?
