Great video, I bought the Beambox pro and have never looked back , the best tool I have bought. Started as a hobby but progressed into a small money making business , but most of all I enjoy the fun of creating with this laser, it is so easy to use and has been hassle free for the last 12 months
I just checked the total work time on it and I have used it for 336 hours so far. So far the only problem I have had with it is it getting a little too hot in the summer time. My shop was getting to about 80-85f and the water in the laser can only get as cool as the room so it would give me a warning and stop cutting. I bought an A/C unit to cool it down and that fixed the problem. It's a very good laser cutter. If you have any other questions just let me know.
@@randymay Thanks so much. I did try researching it myself but it’s not entirely clear whether it will do that in a single pass or multiple passes and doesn’t give cutting rates (speeds). I don’t want to spend money on something that doesn’t do what I want it to do. I appreciate your prompt reply though 👍
That is understandable and I can't test it out right now due to me being packed up to move. I did cut some 3mm acrylic and bass wood in one pass. I saw that some used it to cut plywood that was 8mm in one pass. I will do some testing once I get all setup in my new shop.
Thanks for the video. I would like to know the settings that you used to cut the cardstock. Thank you very much.

Hi what settings you used to cut cardstock?
Great video, I bought the Beambox pro and have never looked back , the best tool I have bought. Started as a hobby but progressed into a small money making business , but most of all I enjoy the fun of creating with this laser, it is so easy to use and has been hassle free for the last 12 months
That's good to hear. If you don't mind sharing what are you making with it?
Is this better or as good as the Xtool P2? The workspace of this is better because the P2 only as 308mm on the x axis.
is it possible to use for regular phone cases (for example sillicone or plastic)?
How has the laser been like for you after a year? Any issues?
I just checked the total work time on it and I have used it for 336 hours so far.
So far the only problem I have had with it is it getting a little too hot in the summer time. My shop was getting to about 80-85f and the water in the laser can only get as cool as the room so it would give me a warning and stop cutting. I bought an A/C unit to cool it down and that fixed the problem.
It's a very good laser cutter. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Buenos días. Está maquina hace mucho ruido? Vivo en un piso y no sé si molestaría al vecino el sonido.
Its really not too loud but it's also not quiet. Most of the sound is the fans for ventilation
Do you know if this will engrave a silicone mat that I can use to add texture to clay?
I don't know but I will have to try that.
@@randymay Thank you! Looking forward to your experiment 😀🙏
Would be interested to know how thick this can cut in MDF or LaserPly. Can it cut 6mm (1/4”)?
According to the info sheet that I have found online it can cut 7-9mm materials.
Here is a link to that info www.fluxlasers.com/products/beambox-pro/

@@randymay Thanks again for this useful information 👍
90% these i do 5w diode laser. could jut cut clear and white acrylic. i cant LOL
It can also cut acrylic in just about any color much cleaner than a diode could ever do.
900 Dollar? In Germany the filter is at around 1200 Euros. 😅
Yeah that filter part is very expensive 😅
Nice machine
It really is and I have been using it a lot over the last year
