Hi saffy, blue sky and sunshine, stunning scenery and great roads what more could a biker want, just won more thing, a cake! Was it yummy! Thanks saffy for another class video, hope you're well. As always best wishes Roy.
So glad to have stumbled here .....what a lovely way to be distracted for 13 minutes. Thank you Saffy for taking us along and sharing such a wonderful journey you're on. The scenery and landscapes are magnificent, stay blessed x
OMG! I was in Norway, too. You wouldn't believe it. I was taking a morning hike in the middle of nowhere and I happened upon this tent. And they left biscuits out for me by the door. It was the craziest thing!
In June my wife and I are heading to the other Viking area, Newfoundland Canada. Our annual bike trip with our group, Canadian Army Veterans (CAV), always a fun time to ride and tell lies about things that happened years ago! Love the videos.
Saffy ❤ I'm jealous ,you pick all the good venues ,well done lass ,lesson learned no matter how dirty things get ,they always come clean in the end .once again well done lass it's been a pleasure watching you X take care ,safe future journeys
just came across your channel, subbing. I have the exact same bike and enjoying it a lot. btw you wouldn't believe how helpful the grip puppies had served me for reducing the vibes. Cheers from the south of France
Love the "sound effects" you make in the switchbacks... thats how I feel here in the Mountains of western North Carolina... hopefully I don't make those sounds 😂😂 just wouldn't be right for a 64yo man haha❤❤❤🌹
🥰You are a truly brave person and a talented motor vlogger. Going to Norway so late in the year by the way is quite challenging. I rode alone to Finland in september and it was great! I love your footage with the drone. Riding alone can sometimes be lonely, however it brings you back to what the real values in life are and it also gives you the opportunity to meet new friends. Stay safe and remember 'traveling the road is the goal, not reaching a destination!'
I am anxiously sitting here waiting to see how the rest of the trip went. Do I need to put on mittens, bobble hat and scarf to se the next episode? The weather can be quite harsh in Northern Norway from the end of September onwards.Hopefully you escaped snowy roads.
Hey there, Looks awesome!! I was there in the summer all by myself too after getting my license two days before starting the trip. It's this backcountry road from Ulvik in the second segment of the video, right? If it is, I actually rode the exact same route as you did in this video. Such a coincidence. :) I wish you a very good rest of your trip.
Yeah, Stryn is nice :) Did you go through Hjelle? I will find out next video :P Just an hour away from where I live. Where there many goats in Våtedalen (from Skei to Byrkjelo), usually when I go through there in the summer time, it's filled with goats.
Nice addition...how many parts will there be? I'm guessing the actual ride is over since you indicated you were back in the UK a few weeks ago. Hope you are closer to getting in your new home :)
About 4/5 videos left! Still not in the new house yet which is very very very annoying! I'm due to move in in the next 3 weeks! Still living in a hotel until then!
Wow, that looks amazing and a bit like Scotland on crack 😂 I think riding on your own makes safer and less likely to take risks but you also have the freedom to do what you want when you want which you don't get in a group 😂 stay Saffy and enjoy 😉
Excellent stuff saffy , I’ve looked into doing this and two weeks just isn’t long enough especially with a Africa twin 1100 and that awful seat means you can’t do the amount of miles per day , maybe next year ?
I made my trip in 3 weeks; it felt pretty rushed. I'd honestly recommend 6 weeks, but if all you have is your annual leave allowance, its better than none!
@@SaffySprocket was thinking 4-6 weeks as fatigue sets in , I found after doing the nc500 in 51/2 days which was around 2000 miles time I got there from Herts , did a few extras , missed a few turns , detours for fuel ect I was knackered for a week after lol
DO YOU EVER GET BEHIND CARS SUVS BUSES WHEN ITS FREEZING OUT AND THE CARS POUR OUT THE WHITE FLUFFY STEAM AND IT BLOWS ALL OVER YOU AT A STOP LIGHT IT ACTUALLY FEELS GOOD IN THE FREEZING TEMPS WHEN I RIDE I LIKE TO GET REAL CLOSE TO THE BACK OF THE CARS TAILPIPE SIDE
This is exactly what we've got planned for 2025. Out of interest, how long did it take you start to finish? I'm guessing you covered some ridiculous mileage some days.
3 weeks but I regret not setting aside 6 weeks, I wish I had done have the mileage a day and done it over a longer period of time. I would probably go in spring next time round too because once the storms hit it was so difficult
Do you get lonely travelling alone? We have each other and are very lucky to always have someone to share the moment with. We are touring to Rome and back from England, must be strange to get to your goal and not have anyone to share that moment with?
@@ontheroadadventure you are lucky to have a partner who is also into motorbikes. My only chance is when my daughter grows up, she will be into it. I’d love to travel with her. Mom prefers 4 wheels
She will have trials and tribulations highs and lows but she will have a laugh. She will take the piss out of herself, she is alright because she never takes herself too seriously.
This looks amazing. Well done you . Travelling alone !
I would be afraid to try it until now .
Thanks for sharing.
Sometimes it's scary, even for me! But you slowly get better and better at reading yur environment!

Well put together Saffy. Drone work is especially nice. You really do have some stamina! I couldn't survive so many consecutive days riding.

They were so crazy twisty! Convinced more so than Stelvio!
calling them thieves is over the top seeing as you left them out in the open 🤪🤣
It's a bit like the European Alps - you keep riding towards the mountains, but don't seem to get any closer.
