    Where I live it's 300 for a fuzz face or 39 for the azor. Best fuzz is mosky audio big fuzz m series. Big Muff tone Bender and M Fuzz plus boost for 80$ unbelievable value for money and quality.

    I've been looking for a Fuzz Face clone like crazy, besides the price the original one is too big, this seems like a good option.

    The Azor sounds a bit more spitty to my ear. Also, when it comes to pedals, you have to keep in mind that they will all sound different even if they came off the same line on the same day.

    The AZOR has a center fuzz level knob now. See Amazon.

      Thanks for checking out my video.
      Azor makes a couple different fuzzes.
      The Azor with 3 knobs is based on a big muff. The one in this video is a fuzz face style circuit.

    Makes sense. The components for a fuzz face pedal cost about 30 cents. And you can buy whole boards soldered already for about a buck. The most expensive part of this pedal is the case.

    • @alexcorona
      @alexcorona 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Where?? The cheapest I can find is unsoldered boards for $6-7 . I checked all the Chinese websites.

    • @JC-fj7oo
      @JC-fj7oo 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alexcorona I meant for the people buying in 100,000 bulk units to make pedals in a factory....
      But...
      You can get all sorts of boards like th-cam.com/video/f5CZ2Kkhkso/w-d-xo.html which isn't a fuzz face exactly, but my point is that it's a fully assembled and soldered board and it's selling for about a buck.
      So for these companies to make a fuzz face it only costs a few dollars. Whether you buy the $20 one or the $200 dollar one, they are the same simple circuit and cheap components with a dollar or so of labor.

      @zachary963 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JC-fj7oodon’t forget that for American companies at least, the price tag of a product doesn’t just cover parts and labor. The price tag covers parts, labor, electricity bills, utilities, property rent, leases, 401k, life insurance, taxes incurred by the manufacturer, permits, any other insurance, legal fees, artwork, advertising, safety features, HR and janitorial costs, cost for managers, AND all of these same costs for the retailers, plus some shipping costs in there too.
      If you add all that up and suddenly the $100+ price tags on American pedals make sense.

    • @JC-fj7oo
      @JC-fj7oo 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@zachary963 if you had that all up and then divided by the many millions of pedals and other gear that they sell, no I'm still not seeing $100... Especially since they are just importing all the Important stuff and slapping a logo on it. In fact a lot of them are made entirely in China. They show up completely ready to put on the shelf. But anyway, my point is that yes you're getting the same product. The product itself costs just a few dollars.

    I'm wondering if the Azor Fuzz could keep up if you're playing a cranked amp because I've heard that it has a low output.

    I like both of these fuzz pedals. Can anyone tell me the model # of the J.H. mini fuzz pedal. Is it FFM1 or FFM3?

  • @m0j0b0ne
    @m0j0b0ne 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Clearly, the Fuzz Face does a better job of representing the subharmonic during oblique bends, so the Azor's a no, for me.

  • @3tmbn429
    @3tmbn429 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Fuzz face better...Maybe both are good 🤔

    • @BuddycatAFK
      @BuddycatAFK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah. They both have some unique character. Neither of which are bad.
      I do think if someone wants the classic minimal always on setup the Dunlop wins. The Azor has some nastiest that I think more people are searching for these days though. It’s a heck of a pedal regardless of the price.

      he's not staring into the camera (although i think he should be), he's looking to the side at his camera display, and i don't think it would be creepy either way. it's just like singing, you more or less look towards the audience, but it's acceptable to keep your eyes closed, look at the ground or whatever. why would playing an instrument truly be different?
