I want to buy a OneR or OneX2 and I'm not sure about the need of ND-filters. If I use my standard actioncam on my motorbike, I have to use ND-filters to get the "more speedy look". But is it also necessary with the 360-cams? If yes, I have to buy the OneR, right?

Im thinking buying a action cam but see this 360 maybe its different then a GoPro. My friends already have GoPro so maybe I will be the different and together we make great movies and photos! ✌
Buy a GoPro Max (360 cam), I had a one r and returned within a few weeks as I had lens fogging from day one, plus everyone gets the red eye of death on their video which is impossible to remove.
I have now got a Max and luv it and waiting to get back to Florida and start shooting on my Harley Road Glide Special

So how easy is it to mount in the usual gopro mount locations on a helmet, without it sticking out so much that it's a pain while hitting passes fast? It seems great for bike mounts, and even body mounts if you're purely demonstrating its abilities at low speed. But for faster riding, can you comfortably mount it on your body and get decent 360 shots?

Love dirty bikes . Got 3 vtwin cruisers, had them over 2 yrs, and just got an R1. I just ride em in the rain to get off most of the dirt, never " washed" any of them. If it's nice enough to wash, it's nice enough to ride.

Have you attached it to your triple-clamp where you can get a view of where you're going, the console, your face, body, who you're passing, etc?
I mostly ask to see if the X2 is far more resilient against vibration shutoffs than the X, which has been disappointing for that reason. It periodically shutsdown/crashes, which not only stops recording but also corrupts the current video. It gets worse with time. After a few months, it shuts down within minutes all the time. I've replaced it twice. Otherwise I love it.
Again, the problem is due to its inability to deal with the engine vibration transmitted into the camera through the mount. I am hoping that the X2 is far more tolerant of vibration than the X2. My bike is a 2020 BMW S1000RR superbike, which is an inline four that revs to about 15K rpm, and thus has higher-frequency vibration than most bikes, though I've heard similar complaints from others.

Is it possible to mount it on your helmet but rotated a quarter turn? So it is skinnier in the wind for aero purposes. Like the lenses are facing left and right rather than front and back.

What was the battery life like on the bike. I sold my one X because the battery lasted 10mins on my bike, dunno if it was the cold or a faulty battery but it put me off insta 360.

I noticed you used a big sticky pad for your helmet mount, what was that? The motorcycle mount kit comes with much smaller pads than that. Does that also mean you use your own mount system as well?
