I love how you used Stamping Foam with items from nature. The leaves with Lunar Paste is my favorite...but that's because you had me at Lunar Paste! Also loved that there was an Awkward Die Cutting moment! --Kristin

Great tips, Simon! I love the Lunar Paste on the black cardstock - so dramatic! It's great that you also showed us how to use the leftover paste for backgrounds too. I've discovered that even if I don't like a background I can die cut leaves, etc., out of them and they always turn out amazing. I'm jealous of your leaves and evergreen boughs that you used - nothing like that in the California desert where I live!

Genius! I always had problems with nature printing, working with natural leaves before they broke down or my paint got too thick. This is a great solution!

That lunar paste is freaking amazing!
I really loved the leaves stamped in the foam, we used to paint leaves and press them onto paper or canvas for a similar result. Never as beautiful as the card with the metallic glazes, though! Gorgeous!

I love that last card. The cedar branch background really set off the stamped branches and ornaments. And, I'm going to have to try brayering my lunar pastes.
Loved the leaves with Lunar paste on black, striking contrast! The smooching backgrounds hold endless possibilities too, masculine with cogs and gears to kiddywinkle cards. You so inspire me but your products are hard to come by in Australia, sob!
Favorite is the evergreen. But so jazzed about trying Lunar Paste on Your Stamping Foam!

Awkward die cutting for the win! You always make beautiful cards, it's hard to pick a favorite because they each have their merits and individual beauty. That said, I do really like that Christmas tree one with the ornaments, it's like a micro view into a real decorated Christmas tree.
Brilliant technique! I have done tons of gelli plate prints with leaves… never thought to use mint tape to secure the arrangement…🙄! And of course using the stamping foam is fun and creates such great panels! Another terrific inspiration video Simon, TY!!

I have an order of stamping foam on the way (as soon as SSS ships Tim's new color). I can't wait to try out these techniques. Love the lunar paste on black (black backgrounds are my thing) but I also really like the evergreen boughs cards. It's quite vibrant and just generally yummy. As I've mentioned numerous times, I just love this release and I'm so tempted to ditch this year's holiday cards design and make them with these great stamps and dies. (If not, I'm def doing a retro card with your hot foil retro ornaments next year. It's already basically designed and I have ALL the product.)
