That last tip is a gem! Especially on mats where the stencils are not quite as crisp. I can't wait to give it a go. Thank you for the extra bit of knowledge! Appreciated as always 🙂
just used this with the 3RL and not even joking it completey improved my line work.. been really stressing with this needle for a couple weeks and today I loved every min of the design without stressing! thank you so so so much for this video!! what I learnt I was feathering out and then following one side of the line made the needle run in a straight line for me! finally!!!!
Me too. Actually there are some artists on youtube who say that stencil is just a guide to make you confident. But I believe this is the question of how accurate you wanna be. In order to master the technique the 5th principle is as much important as previous. Thank you Ben for accentuating it. It's one of the keys I haven't concentrated enough. Till now.
Got my friends table painted. It takes me forever to do anything anymore. I have one wall to paint in my back room. Then I can move my furniture back and get a space set up. I can’t wait to start my lessons. It’ll be interesting. Tattooing blind on fake skin. Awesomeness! I’m going to share. It’s going to be a mess! But you’re directions are going to make me better. Then I’ll put one on hubby. But not before I learn the correct way. I know, I’m blind so I’ll never be a real tattooist. But I’ll be better than I am right now.
That 5th tip is so in your face and obviously the correct thing to do but there won't be anyone out there watching that was doing it. Its amazing all the little tips your giving away. They should be part of the paid course. You should create a play list of videos called 101 tips for tattooists.. you wouldn't have to do anymore videos just put the ones you have already done together, there must be enough by now
Thank you, good Sir. I have learned so much from you as a beginner. I will continue to learn by watching your old videos and hope to be recognized as top artist in my country in the future. Thank you.
Great video, especially tip #5 .... so many times I wondered "should I be in the middle, or on one edge ...hmmmm I wonder if it matters" ? YES IT MATTERS!!! Thanks for the tip!!!!😁

You’re so awesome!! Your teaching style really helps I am a tattoo apprentice right now and have been watching your videos! They help so much thank you man!
That 5th tip is a great one ! I’ve been doing this now for the last few of my tattoos , and noticed a big difference! It is especially helpful when their is lines running close amd parallel to each other ! Before I started doing this my lines were too close to each other and it didn’t look right ! Now I’ve been really happy with this tip , and it also allows for extra concentration making the design so much better ! Thank you Ben for this awesome tip as always! 💥🙌🏻💥🙌🏻💥🙌🏻💥🙌🏻💥🙌🏻💥
I've noticed the issue of wobbling withing the stencil line and I've always just tried to be centered on it. I'll give this one a try and see how much it helps!

That stencil hack is clutch, I have been having that problem and I thought it was because I was using a 3liner for all your drills instead of 5. Either way I can wait to break out my fake skin and give it a go!
Great tips Fisher! So freaking informative 👊🏼💯 🤯 Going to give this a try a this weekend(also that sponge 🧽 is going to be tried 🤔 Thank you for providing us these Top Notch Lessons/Tips and inspiring us all to achieve more and better 👍🏼

Hey Ben hope you are doing good, al followed all your videos for 30 days course. . I am having difficulty in filling the tattoo by making circles in between gaps are left any advice will be very helpful
Please send questions to my FB page via messenger - its easier for me to answer all questions on one platform - facebook.com/Benfisherinkrush - Thank you for all your support!
I would say no. Tattooing and painting are both art forms, but they are different mediums with different techniques. It is better if you have at least a basic understanding of drawing. But at the end of the day its about how much time and effort you put into your craft regardless of the medium being used.
do some find it easier to float the needle or riding the tube? i like to float the needle but i find it sometimes better to ride the tube for blacking stuff out or little shading spots...
I’m taking tattoo courses and finished 3rd lesson. My biggest problem is shaky lines of course. In the studio I use a spare machine but at home I don’t have a tattoo machine. What is the best practice at home without a machine to improve my finger muscles and lineworks?
Huge thanks to all of you for your amazing comments and continuing support for the channel, it really is appreciated!
