I realized they would play it cuz they've played a 72s song on spot 8 on all other concerts. so they moved it to song nr 11 in the setlist, after Unforgiven. Sorry for rambling on slightly.

Of course there is some editing and polishing involved before they release the videos on YT, that’s true. But in most cases it barely makes a difference, in my experience (have seen Metallica plenty of times and then watched/ listened to their official videos/ audios). You can actually listen to many fan recordings of the performance here on YT. Although the audio quality obviously isn’t great in those, it should give you an idea. But even Metallica‘s official, polished audio in this video can’t do the actual performance justice. There’s just something about the boys performing live that cannot be captured in a video.
This is absolutely magically well done. Imagine that a band can deliver a song like this and do it with that feeling and emotion live, 40 years into their career. Hats off - what professionals.

@@FriedrichHerschelHardwired's sound reminds me of The Black Album. The grooviest moments remind me of The Black Album the most. On 72, Crown Of Barbed Wire is an example of a track that make me feel the same. Inamorata reminds me of the heaviest moments of Master Of Puppets.
My family and I were part of this premiere and unique event. It was my three children's first Metallica concert and I am glad that they could be a part of it.

Had my first Metallica show last year in Hamburg after being a fan for over 22 years. It was incredible. An advice: don't drink too much alcohol, you do not want to end up like some people I saw that had to be carried out by paramedics after the first 5 minutes of the show because they had too much.
What a masterpiece! This complex gem proves they’ve transcended way past just being a metal band. Bless u Metallica for this sing. Just wished they played it when I saw.then in NJ.

Re-watching this makes me realize that if this was to be the last ever recorded Metallica song, not that I wish for it, but ... I'd be fine with that. This is a masterpiece, same class as The Outlaw Torn. I've seen TOT in London 2009, with Kirk playing the end of the song right in front of me. And then my wife and I witnessed this live performance in Munich. What an amazing weekend. The rain on Friday made it so much better. Great surfing by Kirk and shame on Lars' photo. Thank you!
