And Im so glad I was here at this show and got to experience it. As soon as I heard the intro fading in, I instantly got goosebumps. And once they started playing, my eyes welled up with joy.

The intro is stunning. It reminds me of the opening , brooding drones to the theme from The Terminator. Totally sounds perfect to the song. Incredible.

You really don’t realise how big this m72 tour stage is until you watch the fly around at 1:22 and love the “pulsing purple on stage” tube lights at 1:44 and once again thank you for m72incinima even though it wasn’t live in the uk on the day you played Texas but it felt like I was there in person who ever was in charge of creating those amazing camera shots/ angles you did a fantastic job and 7:15 another epic full stage angle and I love at the end James gives cliff a shout out

Watched Cliff from the front row in Decatur, Illinois, Civic Center on May 31 1986, less than 4 months before his accident on the Damage tour. Sold out, the small venue only held about 4000 people; It was one of the first and only live performances of Orion by Cliff as Master had just been released. To this day no one can find a recording of that show. Metallica played back to back songs the entire night, Stopping only 3 times in one continuous set. I was only 14, but I knew this was something special. Cliff was in his own world during this performance. He never looked up from his base and his eyes were closed most of the song. Also that night was Master, Whiplash, Seek and Destroy, Creeping, Four Horseman into Blietzkreig, Bells, Ride. There were more but those are what I can remember for sure. Metallica played crazy sets in both Peoria and Decatur.
