The order delivery date for the kitten milk replacer isn't anywhere before 2 weeks and orders often get cancelled here. It's winter here and the kitten needs warmth and care throughout the night. So, I've to take care of him for the whole night and make up for the sleep during the daytime. Talked to a guy who had rescued a kitten as well, he recommended diluted cow milk and egg yolk only. But, I'm going with the Vet's recommendation for now.
No. They need to be fed artificial kitten milk. Before offering the artificial formula to the kittens, check the temperature. If the milk is too hot or too cold, then the kittens may not be able to feed. Kittens will need fed very regularly at first, around every 2 hours. It is vital no to use other types of milk as they may not be able to provide the nutrition the kittens require.

So I thought it was happened duue to milk feeding. Then I stopped to give it milk then I didn't see such worm on its body or in its poop.
I have fed my cat milk once and didn't react at all she is an adult to.
How bout feeding your cat its own spieces of milk instead of milk that was meant for a baby calf?
*Meanwhile Tom drinking milk everyday*
He's drinking goat milk
Whether it's safe for a cat to drink milk or not i swear it's just a myth that they actually do dribk the stuff.
I have never seen a cat drink it in real life myself and growing up we had a cat and whenever you put w bowl of milk in front of him he wasn't interested in the slightest!!
my cat is *extremely* disgusted with water, so the only way she become liquid is to give her catmilk (lactose +sugar free).
No reaction on Bear Brand powdered milk.. I am feeding them every morningbwith milk and I found no reaction at all. I posted my cat lapping on a milk and a friend adviced me not to feed cat with milk.
I always find these animal "scientists" are normally extremely wrong, sometimes dangerously so. Of course to much of anything is bad for the creature consuming it.
Over 40 years of owning cats the cats I feed cows milk never had any issues. Most solely had milk as a drink.
Huge difference in studying an animal and having one as a close pet.
Is it safe for a 2 week old kitten? Please reply asap!
@@SamAnon8 no, thats to young, if the mother isnt round or has problems producing milk, buy some special formula. Once they can start eating solids, you can slowly introduce it.
We always gave the kittens the option of water or milk. Dont give them soy milk. Some cats prefer water to milk.
@@cypherglitch thanks🙏
@@SamAnon8 Glad to help.
Lucky I just got out of hospital today after 3 weeks, as I never checked my notifications.
Please keep me up to date with the kittens progression for the first few months, if the kitten is motherless? Thanks. I hope it goes smoothly.
edit: Slowly introducing milk when they start on solids, means watering down the milk, about 1 to 1.
@@cypherglitch Glad that you're okay. May God bless you with the best for both the worlds. Have been giving the kitten Cow milk for a week now. Have shifted to a homemade supplement yesterday on a Vet's recommendation; One Teaspoon honey, one teaspoon yogurt and milk-water in approx 80ml :240ml quantity respectively.
My mama cat developed Manstitis. Is if okay for kittens to drink small portions of cow milk for 1 day??
My cat drink milk,as well egg and milk shake, and meet too.mostly I surve her chicken.
Cats have been living on farms for 6,000+ years. I'm sure most of them evolved tolerance to lactose, just like humans did.
Did Nestogen low Lactose is best for kittens?
//is milk and water ok for my 11 yr old cat ?//

Ok now someone help me, I found a kitten that is a couple of weeks old (like 3 weeks) in my window with her mother but her mother is weak and can’t feed the kitten properly even though I feed the mother. I need to feed the kitten its to young for solid food and I dont have access to formula so what do I feed it???
By the way the mother trusts me so i can take the kitten to bottle feed it but what do I feed it??
Sadly, you must feed them formula until they turn two months old. Here you have more info about it: www.animalwised.com/how-to-feed-a-newborn-kitten-2425.html
