I'm glad you enjoyed Istanbul. Yes, the sound of ezan could get to you if you are not used to it. After several times, your brain learns to filter it out, luckily. Also, we drink ayran (watered down yogurt) with spicy meals as a cooling agent or on hot summer days.
Wow! Thanks for the info. And yes, I loved Istanbul and would like to travel to Turkey again. I also have a Part 1 video of my Istanbul trip on my channel (Galata Bridge, Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower) 😎 Thanks for watching! 🙏
@@improveyourenglishwithevelyn Cool, I'll check out part 1 too. By the way, the Galata region has a historic high school - built in 1481 - midway on Istiklal Street. After seeing the footage, I'm sure you must have walked by it. I graduated from that school. Unfortunately, it's not open to tourists.
Turkey is great country to visit , The yogurt you showed us at the beginning of the video is for drink not to add on food, I lived in Turkey for two years
So nice to see this Vlog, I will be travelling to Istanbul alone too in some days, let’s see! ☺️ for what I am most excited is to hear the Adhan😍 I had to mention😂 because for you it’s something „different“ for me I am so excited, because you don’t know the meaning, Adhan is more then just call to prayer, the prayer is your meeting with God himself 🥰 and that’s why we all love the Adhan because god calls us to him❤️ I wish for you to get more information about Islam, then you would understand more about the Muslim population and culture, it’s far more beyond then that wich you know, or see. I hope you had a great trip and visit turkey often❤
It was great to see my country from your perspective. Sorry for ezan 😃 but beleive me after a few days you cant hear it at sleep even you try to.. I hope you will come again and explore other parts of istanbul and turkey 🙂
Thank you for all of the great advice on places to go! I'll be going on a solo trip in September and it's wonderful to hear from someone else that did it!
Thanks for the video. It was really good to learn your experience in Turkey Istanbul and learn the way how your desribe the place in English. Also, thank you for remembering your TH-cam audience while you are taking a break. You are a good soul !!
I am so thankful you liked Turkey🙂 I hope it was a pretty good experience for you🙌 Thank you again to visit Turkey. Love your videos i hope you are always be on TH-cam😊
Welcome to our country 😇. I wish I would talk to you about Turkish culture but unfortunately we didn’t come across because I live in another city of Turkey, capital city 😊
I'm going to Turkey solo soon :) did you go to the concert with anyone you met prior or alone? I'd love to have an experience like this but kind of nervous as a woman
The liquid you bought is a mixture of yogurt, salt and maybe some spices. It's called Ayran in Turkey. It is a healthy drink that people drink with their food. It's sad that they broadcast Azan (call to prayer) at such an inappropriate time. Azan is not meant to bother people.
Actually, Türkiye is not a Muslim country. Its constitution is secular. But; The 20-year Erdoğan rule and excessive immigration from the Middle East is also felt on the streets. It was freer and more reliable 20 years ago. Wrong agricultural policies caused the migration of uneducated rural people to big cities, wrong foreign policy filled with Middle Eastern immigrants, wrong economic management brought Arab billionaires and big crime barons to the country.
How was it freer and more reliable when even the headscarf was banned and country was under disgraceful military tutelage, all the while the PKK was having a field day in the Southeast? Also, the agricultural output increased considerably during the period in question, contrary to your disinformation.
