Thank you for this!!! I've also hiked Trappers Peak and thoroughly enjoyed the view! My recommendation for you, for a gorgeous out of state hike - it's a fourteener, is Mt Sneffels in the San Juan Mtn Range in Colorado! It's near the town of Ouray. Absolutely gorgeous!!
thanks for the vid - agree about St Helens, once WSDOT gets the road back open Harry's Ridge trail is also an even more approachable yet still spectacular way to experience the area.
I recently got into hiking within the past few years after watching my Mom summit Hood, Rainier and a few others in the Pacific NW. Your videos are so inspiring and I love the way you film. My favorite trail of 2023 was Kendall Katwalk and Colchuck Lake. I'm hoping to explore the North Cascades in 2024!
Great list here I've done all of these as well. So funny I was certain you're #1 was gonna be Black but that's because it's prob my fav as well just really hard to beat! Trappers is a close rival. I am planning to go back there and do Thornton Peak next year adjacent to Triumph similar views but that climb looks fun! Cheers :)
I love tallying up my hiking stats at the end of the year! I'm getting in one more hike on the 31st and then to my excel sheet 😅 One of my favorite hikes this year was Little Annapurna in the Enchantments! I also had so much fun hiking Vesper Peak, Sahale Arm, Snoqualmie Mt, Baldy/Tyler Peak, doing the High Divide thru hike and backpacking Snowgrass Flats! Can't wait for next summer 😊
Beautiful revisit to beautiful places, Bonnie. My favorite hike is Gold Creek trail to Joe Lake. Gnarly trail and steep side of a waterfall climb, but so rewarding. I've done the trail 10 times and I hope you find this gem, too
Thank you for taking us with you on your adventures!!! It's so inspiring and cool to see a woman out there solo hiking with no fear, and showing us we can do it too! Happy New Year!
Great list! I've yet to do Trappers Peak or Mount Daniel. My big highlights were reaching the peak of Vesper and also hiking up to Hidden Lake Lookout. Thanks for all the hiking inspiration!
I got tons of inspiration from your hikes and climbs, more than I can ever follow up on myself. Thank you and I am looking forward to what you're going to share in 2024.
Start hiking along I90 this year, the most memorable hiking are Snoqualmie Mountain, Mt Dickerman, Hidden Lake Lookout, and McClellan Butte (passed through the cloud on that day).
It's 1000 miles to Lee Vining CA. 😅 Beartooth #1 it's the wild. From pass very user friendly. The giant bowl of woods meadows is bear maul central. Yep. I go from pass to middle. Cross country.
So many tough choices, I did almost half my hikes this year in Oregon. So here is my Washington list. Best sunrise - High Hut Best sunset- Steptoe Butte Best lookout - Park Butte Best peak - Wright Mountain Toughest - Putrid Pete's Peak
Amazing
Happy new year and tank you for all your vidios.😊🥰
Thank you so much for the support!

Hidden Lake and Vesper are both top hikes for me, so glad you got to them!!! Daniel is definitely worth the climb
I also loved Lake of the Angels although it may have been the buggiest hike I have ever done! Lol 😆
I got tons of inspiration from your hikes and climbs, more than I can ever follow up on myself. Thank you and I am looking forward to what you're going to share in 2024.

Those are all amazing trails, Hidden lake is so special, and Snoqualmie mountain was super memorable for me too!
Great list and video! I’ve had fun watching your vids!
Thank you so much!

Awesome list full of amazing hikes! I did mt. Daniel and Snoqualmie mountain this year and it was awesome to see them on the list! Both amazing hikes!
Both are such amazing mountains that are just a joy to climb! Glad you experienced them too
So many tough choices, I did almost half my hikes this year in Oregon. So here is my Washington list.
Best sunrise - High Hut
Best sunset- Steptoe Butte
Best lookout - Park Butte
Best peak - Wright Mountain
Toughest - Putrid Pete's Peak
Oh wow, so many fun places! Wright mountain is really so beautiful, and that slog up PPP is something else huh?
Wright Mountain is the best view I've seen without a volcano in Washington. And yes PPP is the only hike I almost gave up.
