Let's see tuba and French Horn! They have the greatest ranges of the brass family.
tuba has an impressive range but euphonium has the biggest range in brass
@@bloo14738 not according to the Arbans Book
@@bloo14738 YOU KNOW THAT😱🤯
@@C4pt41nN3m0 f5? That's actually insane bro
@@bloo14738 no horn does
The pianist: I’m about to ruin this whole man’s career
Synthesizers: you don't have true power.
Violinists too hahahaha
@@oscary.sanchezcolon2089 Beginner pianist can play a clean C8. 😉
Organists: That's cute
@@huntermorgan6177 Speaker manufacturers: You only go visible hearing? How odd
Dear Christ, the trombonist threatening stare 😂
Same here, brother
The trombonist could have played higher just a little bit
Also, as a trombonist, I can’t go that high right now I can go pretty high, but not that high
@@andrewdalton9195 yes
He couldve gone a lot higher
Lol love the effortless win
Блюз дээ эх
he didnt win
@@Noname-xf6ohAs a percussionist myself… he did ❤
Yes percussion always wins :) I am a percussionist
@@jellyd708 no he didn't
That clarinet tho 😮
And I thought an altissimo A was high that’s impressive wow
We call the coveted I think highest note the clarinet can play at my high school the super C and I know one guy who can play it. And it’s useless because it can’t be tuned and it’s dynamic is ppppppppppppp lol.
What note is that? I think it’s a G, but not sure. If it is, it’s about 6-7 semisteps above my highest note.
@@frosticle6409Yep it's a G 👍
The bass and Contrabass clarinets have 5 octaves. Also the Bassoon is another one for the woodwind family with the largest range.
F0 to A8 if you try hard enough
fuck my hs band is making me (bassoon) play wayyyyyyy over and under the staff
Everyone almost passing out playing their instruments: 😰
Percussionists with their instruments: 😃
But seriously tho, all instruments are awesome, and have their own unique properties and sounds
Pianists/keyboardists able to do the same but more easily and with 10 possible voices:
@@TheUnderscore_ 👍
@@GameRaptor16 And there's more octaves:
@@TheUnderscore_ true
Percussion instruments arent instruments?
Sun Tzu once said “Never mess with a trombone, they will mess you up.”
Tromboner
@@twstdreality Either or.
the clarinetist playing both notes super short is exactly what I expected lol
the clarinetist's expression is funny
put a french horn player in there, holy shit you got yourself a high note
fr fr I'm a horn and I scare myself sometimes
Yay! Percussion!
percussion for the win 😎
The marimba was effortless. HOOWAH!!!
fun fact: it's technically possible to get a little over 3 octaves on oboe with non-standard fingerings
Piano enters the chat
Piano - 7 OCTAVES 🍷🗿
Marimba. That's not fair!
The highest note on the trumpet sounded like a child screaming 🤣
Trombone hitting that high high c is crazy
But they showed an E for.. some reason
That’s treble clef, not bass clef. It is a C
@@midston5843 oh lol i didn't realize that, mb
as a drummer who occasionally plays marimba, this video makes me happy
The struggle on the high note on trombone I feel that 😭
Trumpet technically has an infinite number of harmonics so it depends on you
It’s the same for all brass instruments. We theoretically have infinite range upwards, but there is a point where we can’t go any lower
@@ethanhambleton8693same thing applies to woodwinds and strings. Manipulating harmonics let's us play basically infinitely high
Euphonium and French Horn: "amateurs. At least our extremes are *usable.* Tsk."
That high trumpet note sounded good, you could probably fit that somewhere in there like seven nation army or something
Thank you so much!!! You saved my day! Please come back soon with an other instrument challenge. There are so many days to save.
laughter till tears, keep it coming! Bless and keep all of you safe and joyful 💖😊
Im dead from the EEEKK that cane from the clarinet, I didn't even know that was a note😅I've made it before on Accident by squeaking🤣
Hear me out: tubas have a lot of range; but I’m what I call an “instrumental” scientist. I’ve done with my lungs what most tubists never do. My tuba really goes down to about a C1, but whatever it is that I do with my embouchure allows me to go to about Ab-1.
Edit: I forgot to add that I can also reach F5-F6. With helium and a hexafluoride you can go lower or higher.
percussion for the win 😎
To be honest, the trumpet had the highest range with clear notes, and I wont count the marimba as it's a percussion instrument, and not a wind instrument, unlike all the other instruments shown in the video.
@Lightning Moon Games Wind instruments already include brass instruments.
the clarinet, short and sweet 😂
Despite being military personnel, they still radiate band kid energy😂
Music keeps you young!
Percussion goes crazy
Percussion FTW!!!!
The clarinet was my favorite
The clarinetist’s facial expressions are amazing😂 You guys should do one with the flutes! Subcontrabass flute, Contrabass flute, Bass flute, alto flute, flute, piccolo, etc. If you have them, of course.
fun fact the trumpet dosent actually have a highest note its just the highest ever recorded
Yeah also he only played a C, you can go much lower then that😢
@@maxtheyorkie5466 yeah that trumpet guy didn’t represent us very well
@@maxtheyorkie5466it was a C on base clef 😒
@@twstdrealitythat was a C on base clef and Idek what that high note was like cmon bro pay attention ong
@@maxtheyorkie5466actually that was an E in bass clef
The Percussion will always win, no doubt about it.
Hearing a trumpet play a note that can be comfortably played on tuba is surreal
Band geeks are always band geeks, even in the army! Semper Fi
Edit: small note, most liked comment of mine on TH-cam. Sincerely - crayon eater
Marimba ftw 🤘🤘🤘
Yo, my high school got a five octave marimba over the summer
The marimba ate and left no crumbs
A+ to all.
Percussion FTW
Thank you for your services
I literally have that exact piano
I would rock you with my harmonica within the Violoncello range
try the saxopones. they have their lowest note in the bass clef's middle or low range (except for soprano) to whatever note you're feeling like!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Percussion always win!!
I play the clarinet
I have a 5 octave range on bass clarinet :)
Looking and sounding great! Love you Guys and Gals!!
Organist like you could handle a fraction of my power
Drumkit: why are we here just to suffer
French horn would crush this so hard
Meanwhile me with organ- Kid hold me beer!
I cant believe they did do saxophone with altissimo. But then again its for the safety of our eardrums.
How high can you play?
Trumpets: yes
Pipe organ: hold my beer
The lowest note I've played on bassoon is I think Eb1 (using multiphonic fingerings) and the highest is C6 (4 octaves + major6th) so I think I matched or exceeded the trombone dude's range. In real life though, my usable range is Bb1 - F5. So 22va (3 octaves) + P5. The real winner of the challenge (aside from the piano, obviously) would probably be the double bass because they can go basically infinitely high with string harmonics (although it gets quieter the higher they go)
Percussion always!😂
You can whistle on the oboe aswell
Where’s the tuba?!?!? We all know he has the best range 😎
+ altissimo I think baritone sax could (maybe) take it
percussion always wins
On double bass I can go about E1 to G6 without a lower extension piece
Bari w/ altisimo would be fun to see
pianist laughing menacingly:
i felt the oboe pain 😭
Only at the percussion section.
Percussion for the win
love how oboe acted so happy about it like she wasn't 2 octaves away from being second to worst
My range
My lowest note: F1
My highest note: E5
3 7/8 octaves
The 108 Key Piano is 9 Octaves so that's the largest range.
trombone could go lower to a pedal C or B, but it's hard to play with a clear tone, insane that he went that high tho
The clarinet more like a drama 😂
The marimba player can do that for hours! 😀 How’s everyone else’s chops?
Man that stare got me. Right into my soul🤣
The organist and French horn is going crazy right now
I also play the French horn soooo
Percussion is always superior
Yes we are the best
The clarinetist was so silly looking (affectionate)
Finally, a competition the French horn could win!
I wanna see a French horn
ok well if you're going to get the marimba involved you have to let the piano play too (7!)
Well they do sell 7 octave marimbas so😂
bro, the marimba played it so easily 😭
The trombone guy scared me! 😂
Before we changed the instrument family, trombone was the clear winner! 😂
Trumpet
What about me? A triple low bassoon 😅 can you do a triple low bassoon?
pianist: *you mortal fools are powerless*
The flutes and piccolos: *try us, we dare you.*
Welcome to percussion. We don’t give ourselves heart attacks about octaves
As a trumpet player
I am impressed
Don't forget about an instrument called Euphonium (can play as low as a tuba/sousa and as high as an alto trombone)
bassoons!
BRO THE TROMBONIST COULDVE GONE SO MUCH HIGHER WHAAAAAT
The clarinet one was so funny lol
Hey it was by 1/8 trombones still have massive range
