We call the coveted I think highest note the clarinet can play at my high school the super C and I know one guy who can play it. And it’s useless because it can’t be tuned and it’s dynamic is ppppppppppppp lol.
Everyone almost passing out playing their instruments: 😰 Percussionists with their instruments: 😃 But seriously tho, all instruments are awesome, and have their own unique properties and sounds
The clarinetist’s facial expressions are amazing😂 You guys should do one with the flutes! Subcontrabass flute, Contrabass flute, Bass flute, alto flute, flute, piccolo, etc. If you have them, of course.
To be honest, the trumpet had the highest range with clear notes, and I wont count the marimba as it's a percussion instrument, and not a wind instrument, unlike all the other instruments shown in the video.
okay but like, I feel the trumpet could've gone farther. his C was too effortless for that to be his actual highest note. regardless, people can play another octave higher, and I know I've gotten down to E below double pedal C, so a bit under 7 octaves
The lowest note I've played on bassoon is I think Eb1 (using multiphonic fingerings) and the highest is C6 (4 octaves + major6th) so I think I matched or exceeded the trombone dude's range. In real life though, my usable range is Bb1 - F5. So 22va (3 octaves) + P5. The real winner of the challenge (aside from the piano, obviously) would probably be the double bass because they can go basically infinitely high with string harmonics (although it gets quieter the higher they go)
Bro im in middle school and everyone says that percussion isnt an instrument. But i assure you it is. They also say that its one of the easiest instruments. It might be not as ahrd to play but that doesnt mean its easy
I’m kinda disappointed that oboist didn’t play the high b flat. I’m not a pro but I can easily get the b flat and with a good reed I can get the high c.
Oboe can go above high G if you have weird fingerings and a good reed. I’ve gotten to a double high A I believe. My fingering chart goes up to a double high C.
That marimba has 5 octaves! So many solos that I want to play require a 5 octave marimba so I have to email the composers and ask them if they have the solo in a 4 and a 3rd octave marimba😭
Let's see tuba and French Horn! They have the greatest ranges of the brass family.
tuba has an impressive range but euphonium has the biggest range in brass

@@frosticle6409Yep it's a G 👍
@@stickfigureinternational8972If you work on those. high notes, they can actually be controlled - volume-/dynamics-wise.
The bass and Contrabass clarinets have 5 octaves. Also the Bassoon is another one for the woodwind family with the largest range.
F0 to A8 if you try hard enough
fuck my hs band is making me (bassoon) play wayyyyyyy over and under the staff
I've managed to consistently play a 6th octave Bb on my contrabass
as a bassoonist, i can confirm you can go down to low Bb or a with a modified bell.

Percussion instruments arent instruments?
The struggle on the high note on trombone I feel that 😭
not your fault. trombones just dont have a strong altissimo as an instrument. typically why you never see altissimo trombone passages.
the clarinetist playing both notes super short is exactly what I expected lol
Is it that hard compared to other instruments?
the clarinetist's expression is funny
laughter till tears, keep it coming! Bless and keep all of you safe and joyful 💖😊
put a french horn player in there, holy shit you got yourself a high note
fr fr I'm a horn and I scare myself sometimes

As a high school sophmore tuba player I have a 4 octave range from dubble peddal D to trombones high Ab
The marimba was effortless. HOOWAH!!!
Thank you so much!!! You saved my day! Please come back soon with an other instrument challenge. There are so many days to save.
as a drummer who occasionally plays marimba, this video makes me happy
Trombone hitting that high high c is crazy
But they showed an E for.. some reason
That’s treble clef, not bass clef. It is a C

Im dead from the EEEKK that cane from the clarinet, I didn't even know that was a note😅I've made it before on Accident by squeaking🤣
Yay! Percussion!
percussion for the win 😎

The clarinet more like a drama 😂
bro, the marimba played it so easily 😭

The 108 Key Piano is 9 Octaves so that's the largest range.
the clarinet, short and sweet 😂
BRO THE TROMBONIST COULDVE GONE SO MUCH HIGHER WHAAAAAT
Trumpet technically has an infinite number of harmonics so it depends on you
It’s the same for all brass instruments. We theoretically have infinite range upwards, but there is a point where we can’t go any lower
@@ethanhambleton8693same thing applies to woodwinds and strings. Manipulating harmonics let's us play basically infinitely high
A+ to all.
To be honest, the trumpet had the highest range with clear notes, and I wont count the marimba as it's a percussion instrument, and not a wind instrument, unlike all the other instruments shown in the video.
@Lightning Moon Games Wind instruments already include brass instruments.
love how oboe acted so happy about it like she wasn't 2 octaves away from being second to worst
I have a 5 octave range on bass clarinet :)
try the saxopones. they have their lowest note in the bass clef's middle or low range (except for soprano) to whatever note you're feeling like!
Piano - 7 OCTAVES 🍷🗿
Pipe Organ - 10 octaves
That Trombone was enjoying that last note.
I love the trombone player's reaction after he plays lol. So cute
Having to scale your way up to a higher note is so accurate as a trumpet.
What about me? A triple low bassoon 😅 can you do a triple low bassoon?

W PERCUSSION
As a trombone player, my record is six octaves. from the Sub pedal Bb to the Bb6 or idk the Bb above the high Bb
I literally have that exact piano
I didn’t know that clarinet had a range that big, I play clarinet and the highest note I can play Is a high D
+ altissimo I think baritone sax could (maybe) take it
I would rock you with my harmonica within the Violoncello range
French horn would crush this so hard
Really the clarinet won

My lowest note: F1
My highest note: E5
3 7/8 octaves
Only at the percussion section.
trombone could go lower to a pedal C or B, but it's hard to play with a clear tone, insane that he went that high tho
You can’t just play a double C like that on trumpet. It’s not fair to the rest of us. At least make it LOOK like you’re trying.
