The story about the DDR teams sounds very interesting

He actually forgot to mention 1. FC Magdeburg, who were the only East German club to win a European competion - the Cup winners cup in 1974 (later UEFA Cup).

@@dschoene57 I am planning a whole video on East German football and I'll make sure to tell their story as well

I love how simple and straight to the point german club's branding are
All I need to see is a white kit with red shorts/blue socks and a white shirt and red band across the chest to know which clubs they are
no need for the crests at all

Nurnberg and Kaiserslautern's badges are peak minimalism

Yes, do the video of the two Stasi clubs you mentioned. Otherwise, Kleo will be pissed.

Everything about this video is very well researched and bonus points for adding East German clubs too...
However, you're getting a minus point for saying Nürnberg is a pretty city. As an HSV away fan have i traveled to all cities in the 2nd division this year and Nürnberg was by far the ugliest piece of trash i had to walk through.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video but I have to stand my ground on Nürnberg. I used to visit it every couple of years and the city center is really nice. I haven't been to the outskirts but it coming from Eastern Europe it seemed amazing when I was a kid

@@he_football i went from the main station by foot to the stadium (about an hour of walking) and the streets i've been through were so dirty, it made Berlin look like Hamburg lol
