This might be an okay list until 3.3 but for the ICC and Halion patch 3.3.5a; this is not accurate. Your vanilla guides are so on point and I liked watching your stuff but unfortunately this one isn't accurate. 3.3.5a and 5.4.8 have been by far the most balanced wow PvP has ever seen, but mage and warlock are reverse dude, they're the top not the bottom for straight up sure.

Mages and warlocks are easily countered in Wrath. Your average mage and average warlock player will do significantly worse in PvP than they did in TBC. Classes are a lot harder to master and most other classes now have abilities that counter casters.
@@ExecutusGaming Destro lock not at all hard to play. So many instacasts and stun and cc. Mage also not that hard, you gain a stun and damage procs which just give you more spammable instacasts. If you want to get to the top, every class will take a lot of mastery but mages and locks still easy.

I feel like you did a good job promoting every class and narrating the gameplay, but a really bad job actually being informative to someone that wants to pick a class. For instance, you made 0 hints on how difficult and annoying rogues could be when you play them. Especially later in the expansion. They can literally get 1-shotted, and 1 mistake is enough for you to lose any battle. There is no room for error. So unless you're extremely skilled (in which case, this video isn't for you), you're gonna be disappointed. And you have to be OK with 0 tolerance to any mistake. MM Hunter. Hah, I had so many binds, I literally ran out of keys on my keyboard. I had all kinds of crazy combos with keyboard + mouse buttons + modifier keys - holy shit. Extremely difficult to play with. And so on. I feel you didn't capture the true essence of pvp in this expansion.

I still sometimes think back to 2v2's in original WotLK, some of the funny strategies we used. I was never a great PvPer, but I was above average. When we faced blood DKs (this was when fighting them was like fighting a 10 man raid boss) I used to use my unholy dk to kite the fuck out of them, to the point where they got so frustrated that they just logged out lol

Hi executus really nice informative videos I've been learning alot, i got a question if you don't mind i actually play in warmane but i havnt got much pvp experience, i almost kinda familiar with every class but after many years I've decided to start competitive pvping, i wanted to know which class/spec is the most self sufficient and capable of beating others with the same skill/gear level, it'd be a great advice coming from you for someone who over think alot for min/maxing sake, id be mostly focusing on solo play either for open world/bg and solo q in arena, sorry for the long text wall i can't wait to see you play in the classic wotlk 💜😍

I would not stop playing the class you want! Warlocks are strong, they are just getting destroyed by TSG right now. Once warlocks start getting more gear, resil, HP, they will be very strong!!

Skillcap aside, considering all classes are being played by an equal skill-level player, I think mage and rogue should position way higher, specially mages as resilience and haste progress along with gearing. Thus, not sure this paints the right picture for mid to late Wrath mages, or otherwise the majority of the expansion.
Thanks! I agree in a sense, but the large majority of mages are not the best of players in PvP, especially coming from TBC. Their class is significantly harder to master in PvP. Most classes now have abilities that counter mages even more, and make uptime easier. I didn't want to give a false hope to new mages.
You taught me so much about warrior in classic ( i was more of the caster guy ) Is it worth it to play Wotlk if I have ever only experienced Vanilla wow aka classic wow? I'm not that bad but I work 9-5 and I feel like if i want to enjoy the game I'd have to invest 5 hours a day minimum! And I have no knowledge on TBC and WoTLK? So maybe i shouldn't get into this. Or maybe just to enjoy the leveling process? :S

Trying to decide if shammy, druid, warlock or warrior haha 😅 I think warlock it is, I'll work hard for that resi armor. The current game is very different than Wrath! Maybe I explained it poorly in the video, but Rogue Mage is still one of the best comps in the game. It will go to the highest rating. The average rogue mage wont do as well as they did it TBC, due to classes having more spells that counter casters.

Destro is S tier, no question. Mage is at least A tier.
