Great one! Here's my 2 cents (excuse the pun) tip which makes my life easier. If you budget your finances in fixed percentages (eg. 10% = Savings), you don't have to guess the rand amount as your salary grows over time if you stick to it.

I also think it would be great for people who often find these kind of things intimidating. It's also a great way to practice for the future when that "Motsepe money" comes our way🤑🙌

Also for Goals, you can set a reminder on your phone( iphone user) not sure about android but I’m sure There’s an app. The reminder app will remind you everyday like a notification on your goals which is also cool cause most of us mostly use our phones first thing in the morning.

But since you are willing to invest R500 per month then maybe you can look at different unit trusts from different investment banks (eg. Allan Gray, Investec or just normal banks). Maybe google a bit and see what fits your mould
