Good content, I wish I saw this video 2 years ago, I traded my 2017 Polo for a 2019 Rline in 2020 and was bad, my Polo was fine just that I wanted an automatic car, I had to carry R45k to the new car, I bought a used Rline which was just traded by someone with an engine fault, the dealership and I wasn’t aware because the fault was showing after prolonged driving. Then lockdown dealership has to close, after trying to fix it multiple times but didn’t work. I had to trade the car again for a New car this time, I carried a lot of money into my new car. I find this very educative 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Bought my picanto 2018 on balloon too, drove it for almost 4 years, sold it this year Feb for 120k at 55 000 case, settled it for 116k for something bigger and second hand too.

I absolutely agree and the depreciation on car prices is super quick, it’s not worth the “brand new” purchase.
I still do think everyone deserves their “fresh out the box” experience though. Just maybe worth having it on a car you really like as opposed to your first entry-level vehicle.
