Never knew about the compass 11 years ago, nor would have thought I’d have one now. This video shows the reason why I love my compass. I live in Canada, (long story short), we went on a mini vacation to another province during the brink of spring. It was hot and sunny, but coming back home, we were hit with a blizzard. Heavy snow, bad visibility, night time, cars in the ditches, no pavement on the road but fresh snow. We survived, with confidence.
@elparcero1220 Yes, my Compass is a five speed manual. It's a base model, only option, 4WD. It includes the 2.4L, 172-hp/165-lb-ft motor over the 2.0L/158-hp/141-lb-ft, 17% more torque. The latitude/limited only come with CVT. Power Windows/locks, remote keyless entry, rear window defroster/wiper, cruise, air conditioning, 17 in. aluminum wheels all standard now, which is why there is a $4000 msrp increase over last year's Compass. But things like leather/heat seats are not available on base.
@elparcero1220 Also, manuals may be hard to come by. I had mine put on a flatbed and shipped because it was 200 miles away. I know there is one in PA, but that would have been 500 miles away. I considered ordering to get the Blackberry color, but I "settled" for black. I like it because it is a metal flake paint, it "sparkles", especially in bright sun. I was told 4-8 weeks to order it.
Great little Jeep, just bought one. Got 10 inches of snow a couple of days ago. Went through everything, even the 2 foot+ pile the plows left at the entrance to my street. I was the first one through it. Is it Rubicon ready? Nope, but I'm getting 25 mpg in city driving and it will still tow my 2 quads. Oh, and mine is a manual trans. Hill assist, so no rolling backwards. Decent stereo for base model. Negatives? Tailgate too hard to close, gotta slam it, and wish it had auto headlights.
The last Compass was a lame duck out of the gate...what's going to make this special compared to the Patriot? IMHO, Compass/Patriot compete with each other for the same buyer - get rid of one.

@LarryDavidFreak I think the back end looks like its off a xc90 minus the super tall tail lamps.
Much better looking than the last!

I think it's the perfect size. Chrysler needs to have the cummins engine as an option in jeeps. Do these come with manual trans?
@Antoniocool86 Yes they do.
ya llego a vnezuela??

LOVE THIS CAR
1:01 Sounds like something broke 😂
@JEEP5599
You lied to your self. This car is sick!!!!
Now if they only got rid of the weird side scallop in the back then it would be perfect

love the rear end design but the front is butt ugly and way to big for the rest of the vehicle
