Just finished my 50 demo rounds and I already need my fix - when do you think you’ll release? Also not sure if you’re looking into this but the game runs great on steam deck without any tweaks to controls which is awesome!

It's the contrast between the light chuckle as he said he wasn't gonna explain the rules of poker because if you don't know what a straight is, my brother, you need to you read about it; and how 22 seconds later, he broke his straight that the benevolent tutorial gave him, that made my brain melt.
As someone who is god awful at poker, this is a really interesting take on the mechanics of it to make a fun and unique single-player experience. Would definitely like to see more in the future
I saw your newer videos but don't know how to play Poker, so i went back to the beginning of the series lol. I love that there are so many quality of life features, color coordination (like you mentionned), the organizing button, the tutorial on poker hands, etc. You can feel the dev has put a ton of love in this.
Most card-themed games or roguelites end up feeling very uninspired or not unique but this one is great! It's so much fun to watch you play and I'm very excited for more of it

Talking about colors in text, I made a game with character cards and different things are colored and consistant. If it talks about an ability from the same card or another card, yellow. Talks about items, Cyan, ect. Having keywords in color helps a ton.
You should always play as many cards as possible to get the most use of your huge multipliers. High cards give +10 chips which is huge. Instead of just playing a three of a kind and leave 2 empty slots.
Unscored cards do not provide their chip value. For example, if you played K Q J 2 2 and scored a pair, the face cards would not provide a chip bonus and would be effectively discarded.
i want to see a card building rogue like where you and your opponents cards get shuffled into a normal poker deck with your cards having varying effects based on the 4 drawn cards

You might knew this already but the game only count the card that have combination. For example 33 and A 33 will have same result

Also, even ranked does not mean the number of the card needs to be even. It's how much you have upgrade the cards. All cards start in rank 1.

That is not correct. It is referring to the number of the card. Even ranked cards are 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10. Faces are not considered even by this game.
Actually this is completely wrong. Even just means cards with a 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 on them.
