The fender badge suggests that it is a 312. For as long as it set, I'd pull the valve covers and check that all the valves are opening and closing when you spin it over. Note that the Y block engine is a solid lifter engine.
I've got sn early Edelbrock aluminum 4bbl.intake for a 272 Y-block. It has an adapter plate to except typical square bore 4bbl.carbs. One can probably be sourced over the internet.
that is a 292 a 312 vallve cover would say thunderbird special Canter auto parts has every thing you need except the fuei tank I know L have the 4dr version of your car they sell good parts.

@@alanmize5627 thanks and yes it’s definitely a 292 I looked up the vin it starts with a M that was the engine code for 292
