I never heard of mid century modern six months ago. I bought a cedenza to set my TV on, it was a Danish teak veneer type. I bought another one shortly after, then went on a 3 day vacation and stumbled into a consignment furniture shop. I bought a solid teak coffee table there, it was a little rough, but I brought it back to life. It's a 1959 France and Son piece. Bought it for $359 and thought I paid too much. I found one exactly like it in Europe and they are asking 2000 euros for it.
I have that lucite sputnik chandelier in my garage 😃. Im so old I remember the store called White Trash in Chicago in the 80's, the owner was a e.r. doctor and would often be sound asleep when you walked in. He got great stuff.
Great shop and cool guy who knows his stuff
I love this. Love to see more vintage and antique shops getting more coverage ❤
We are happy you enjoyed this episode. Plenty more to come!
