300gr works well in 45acp....you just need to load lite and unusually short.... I used to load them at 1.130-1.150oal. Even down to 500fps, they would clear a bowling pin nicely. Iirc, I used 3-3.5gr of 231

My arm being numb and harting lately sucks not sure my chronic inflammatory disease i got or old work injury flair up. Got colitis in my gut. And their saying keep eye out for Ria down road .😮. But might be these new meds im on make flair up here.
