I’m liking the boat fishing. Some nice fish trolled up. How is the river level up that way?

Water level was only a tad lower than normal, rather clear and healthy looking too, not clouded with mud and dirt.

River was very clear hence the reason did so well on the troll did try a bait for for around a hour and only managed one small cod well worth the look will definitely be going back at some stage

What kind of distance from the boat you troll it at and what bib?

Standard depth bib, number two stumpy. I'll have to ask Paul how far he was trolling. Though general trolling method is a heavy action lure close to the boat and have a second rod with a light action lure further back.

What pound line and leader do you use mate

When targeting Murray Cod I generally run 40lb Sufix 832 with 50lb leader. Need that abrasive resistance against the heavily timbered areas.
