So many watch content creators are sterile, boring, do not do their own photography, and seemingly lack passion. Not all, but most. Your page is exactly the opposite of all these things. Thank you for making watches fun and not taking this stupid and brilliant hobby so seriously.
I own the Ti version and it’s one of my favorite watches. It is in my weekly rotation. The Ti and ceramic makes it wear light for its size. The black ceramic bezel and smaller dial makes it look smaller than it is, in the wrist. The rubber strap or leather aftermarket are definitely a better options, IMHO. The Black/Grey boarder Omega NATO is also a nice option. The AR and slight dome give it great legality for its busy dial. Speaking of dials, it’s one of the easiest WTs, to quickly figure out the time. If you’re math challenged, you won’t be intimidated by the dial. The downsides are price. There is also no minute track. So if you’re an exact, to the second, collector you’ll need to set on the 5s. The Lume is great but small, so it’s harder to read, on a late night wake up and look at. Because of the case material, WR, and rubber strap, it could be the GADA watch, for the complication junkie traveler. BTW Exquisite rocks as an AD.
I thought for a while this was the only luxury watch worth its price, because it actually looks its price in a way that isn't cheesy. But then I saw one at Omega in Vegas and, you know what? It doesn't look all that nicer from a few feet away than a nice citizen does. We're kind of fooling ourselves when it comes to luxury watches.
It's obviously too big, but it's a handsome and balanced world timer. That said, there are a few good functions on an analogue watch that also work well. I think a world timer would soon bother me with its general functional inadequacy. For me, when a function is included it also needs to be functional.
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from amzwatch I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
Another killer video, I love your content! Between the great shots, funny bits, and accurate commentary, this is easily my favorite watch channel. Would you consider covering the Big Pilot 46mm? It’s my favorite IWC, and I feel like you’d have a lot of fun with it. Exquisite Timepieces please send this man a Big Pilot 46
Hey Evan, if the bracelet is one of the main problems, Uncle Straps sells a Speedmaster style "bullet bracelet" with a micro adjustable clasp, so you could buy the watch on the strap and then pick up that bracelet instead. Cool review ( As expected. I enjoy your vids.)
The VC world timers attempted to do the half and quater hour zones, with even greater illegibility problems, but even though I love the cleverness of the complication I can't get past that this is a function that is so much better handled by my G-Shock. The VC is currently discontinued, but might make a reappearance I guess. I prefer the look of the Omega, especially this green, but I've tried it on and it's a bit of a brick on the wrist.
I own the OG blue one on the bracelet, it cost me about aud$25k. I wish that there was a planet ocean version that had a countdown bezel, so that when i’m at the airport i can set the countdown bezel to gate time and then it would be the perfect travel watch.
when i need to know the time in a few cities at once, I grab one of my gshock squares that have 5 world time presets to scroll through. these omegas are very cool though - wish it came in a smaller case size. we aren't all swinging 7 inches at our extremities.
Great video as always. I live between the US and India and it is for this reason that I don’t own a GMT. India is 10 1/2 hours ( or 11 1/2 depending on daylight savings )and no one makes a GMT that can set the second time zone in 30 minute increments- even the Reverso cannot do it 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I’m looking for the GMT day hand/marker, but I don’t see it. Since I don’t see it then I’ll just have to assume that it’s going to cause me to take an educated guess.
Looking at the summer blue edition to “one in, one out” (per-my wife’s request) my Tissot Gentleman. Think it looks great on a brown alligator leather strap.
Evan: an easier mnemonic would be to just add the two digits of the case size to get your wrist circumference in Imperial units (which is odd, given you rebels broke away from an empire a few centuries back).
I hope omega does a new bracelet to aqua terra line with brushed mid links as well that taper a bit more and one better clasp. Like the speedy clasp but a little different
Haha Thats why i have the Railmaster Denim. It has the same bracelet but he whole thing is brushed and so is the watch case. Too bad it doesnt have the micro adjust as per the new AT bracelets :(
@@datta55 it’s lovely fully brushed. I don’t know how the new micro adjust clasp feels but it does not look good at all with that gap from what I’ve seen. Just wish it had a better system.
About the New Delhi 30 minutes time zone: Vacheron Constantin used to have a world timer that has all those pesky between-hour time zones, both in a dressy and sporty styles. Obviously a different price category and not in the current catalogue, but maybe worth a review?
Actually, some of the city names are coloured differently to specify whether the follow Daylight Savings or not, so you can add an hour when needed. It's not a perfect solution, but at least they'vw tried something.
There is an analogue World timer that does accommodate for India and New Delhi (India) . It's the Glashutte Original Senator Cosmopolite. I would love it if you can do a review on that! As I'm interested to see how it looks on your 7 inch wrist in case my 7.5 inch (humble brag) can pull it off!
A bit expensive, sure, but this nicely crafted Omega worldtimer will prove a good companion during boring meetings, when you can dream about traveling the world while pretending to look at PowerPoint slides.
The No1 overlooked problem with this watch and speedmaster 57 is that you can not adjust the date independently. if they remove the date on this or speedmaster 57, I will buy one the next day.
I don't get how these watch shops think it's a good idea to sponsor TH-cam channels by loaning their brand new merchandise. That watch featured in this video, by definition is now a used watch. It even has scratches on it now he says. It has someone's skin oil, and dead skin, and sweat over them. No matter how well it's cleaned at the end of it all, that watch is now used, and there's going to be some poor schmuck who's going to buy it retail thinking he's buying brand new. If someone wanted a used watch, they'd specifically go out and shop for that with the full expectation that it is. That's also often why they come with huge discount factored into their pricing to go with it as part of the allure. This of course has nothing to do with the TH-camrs themselves creating content, but yeah, I sure as shi won't be shopping at any of these venues that are so freely willing to hand out brand new watches to be handled for who knows how long, by god knows how many people. There's just no guarantee that what I'm buying from them hasn't been "reviewed," and I'm certainly not willing to be that schmuck who buys it.
I have so much respect for Omegas history...but this is a giant watch, which is too expensive, from a catalogue that's overcrowded and confusing. Omega needs to totally reconsider consolidating, looking at their model line and naming strategy, and creating a more versatile size range.
Nice watch but didn’t buy it because it’s too big on the wrist. Especially the thickness. Agree to disagree that it’s not noticeable because it’s the only thing I could think about while wearing it in the store.
What is the length across your wrist? Like mine is 54mm or so across so I know as long as my watches are 50mm lug to lug or less with articulating endlinks it should fit my wrist whether I like the fit is a different story.
This is one of my absolute favorite watches. Full stop. Just, too big for my wrist. The moment this bad boy becomes available in a smaller size, it’s gonna top my wish list.
Dial is stunning, case is nice, but that bracelet, damn it looks cheap. Omega in general needs to step up their bracelet game AND clasps for that matter (maybe even more).

The now discontinued VC Overseas world time displayed non-standard time zones like India’s. Tim Mosso did a video review about it a few weeks back.

amzwatch has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals

Gorgeous watch. However, this channel already "made" me get the Farer Roche and I have no regrets. I don't need another world timer.

The 7 inch hack🤌🏼
Life changing
Phenomenal watch. I do prefer the original blue, but the ceramic bezel is incredible. Cheers.
When people are saying #amzwatch is a better option for buying a watch,I very much agree!
Blue dial on strap is an absolute knockout in person.

Ever since I bought a watch from amzwatch , My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?
I’m looking for the GMT day hand/marker, but I don’t see it.

Glashutte Original Cosmopolite will tell you the time in 35 IATA time zones, including :30 and :15 odd zones like Delhi. It’s a stunning piece.
I wish this WAS your job so then we got more of your fantastic videos.
I wear my AT on a FORSTNER BANDS ladder bracelet with the push-button milled clasp.

Very handsome watch!

You have to be very committed to living on earth to own a world timer.
It’s my favorite oxygenated planet right now.

I really like this watch. Tried it on at an AD. Un?fortunately it's too big for my wrist. Ended up saving $9k.

Great video. If i had a 1 Evan wrist I would conaieer getting this watch
I love that green version BUT feels like that green bezel is too much. I Think blue version with metal colored bezel looks a lot more valuable.

I'm genuinely impressed with how close amzwatch were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.
The No1 overlooked problem with this watch and speedmaster 57 is that you can not adjust the date independently. if they remove the date on this or speedmaster 57, I will buy one the next day.
Go for the high dollar clone under 500 bucks I ordered 3 different Omega 's my watch dealer cannot tell the difference and he wants to order some
Is the same one Red Shovel has?
Why don't all watches have the ability to adjust the hour hand w/o stopping the watch? Such a useful feature, even for a simple 3-hander.
I usually find watches with globes and maps on the dials stupid but... this one doesn't look bad.
I have to say that #amzwatch 's watches are amazing!
I was really hoping you would say ablation elation.
😂 I can‘t stop laughing. Love your videos.

I got a blue Omega GMT from my wife for our 21st wedding anniversary. Calibre 9605❤
Yeah the New Delhi one really hurts 💔
Are you saying the dealer sent you a watch to review and you scratched it? Are you going to buy it now that you were careless with it?
I'm only jealous of your x" wrist because of watches like this or a Sky Dweller.
Come for the watches. Stay for the comedy.
What sort of Fender Stratocaster is that?
no music?
I absolutely love this watch, but 43mm and a thickness of over 14m is just too hard on my… 7 inch wrist.

I have an Aqua Terra and hate hate the bracelet. Yeah I said it twice. I changed the bracelet to an Artem sailcloth strap and doesn’t feel top heavy.
I am thinking of getting one. What about the bracelet makes you hate it? Is it uncomfortable or pulls hair? Would you elaborate?

Yeah, this Omega is definitely not my thing. Looks cool but that's about it.
Black dial with a black bazel make the watch appear larger than it used to be.
Omega does a good job with their design, but theor dimensions are still put of whack. Wish they would slim down their watches.

Big, chunky, needs a bracelet redesign - pass.
Not a real world timer, just a GMT movement with a wheel instead of a 4th hand.
