And the case and rubber looks cheap on this Omega. But you need to learn more about the watches since you didn’t even know the accuracy.
It’s just an arse-kicking, awesome timepiece! I have the standard Aqua Terra and it really is perfect from boardroom to beach! This world timer literally has it all! It laughs in the face of the competition! Great review as well of course!
This is a gorgeous watch, but I gotta say value for money the best world timer watch has gotta be the Casio "Royale" AE-1200. If you made a video on that it would absolutely blow my mind lol.

I have the Tokyo 2020 Specialities Aqua Terra and it is striking but damn, the World Timer is next level now that I know all these minute details. Both are worth every penny.
That is as near to perfection as I think Omega has come; I love the Globemaster, Seamaster and Constellation ranges, not to mention their special edition Speedmaster moon watches; this I think for me trumps the lot. Great video!
That is a majestic timepiece , it seems to me a bargain for what you get , a watch doesn't have to be handmade to be great art it just has to be well realized and this watch achieves that and more , a beautiful thing .
Got this piece a few months ago and absolutely love it! Worth every penny. I bought it with the steel bracelet and then ended up getting the rubber strap. The rubber strap really helps the dial pop even more. Will keep this piece and pass it along to my daughter when she is older. Omega really outdid themselves with this one.

This beauty in steel on blue rubber now sells for 6.200 pounds, 200 pounds more on a bracelet in Norway (not the cheapest of nations). Probably making this the best bang for buck Omega at the moment when remembering that this thing is a 50,000 pound model at the top-end. I especially like that it is aqua terra at the core, thus accepting being dressed down to casual leather or rubber while being a very pretty thing to behold dressed up as well. While not costing much more than the most basic Speedy or Seamaster.
I just picked it up from my AD with a nice discount...amazing watch. Only gripe I have is I need my reading glasses to read the cities :) Great watch! Functional, beautiful and stylish! The rubber strap is very comfy.

Usually I like quartz watchs for this complication, because it is, like you also spoke, to be used ans weared. But this is really really amazing on how Omega could make it so detailed, elegant and wearable at same time. Kudos for them.

I love the look of this watch, however, say I was to live in the Caribean, the Cayman Islands for example, how does it handle the DST change if locally the time stays fixed. Would I have to work the difference in my head or because as the centre time says fixed the dial rotates to show the DST of 1 hour? My head is now aching, can someone put me right?
@@abdulrshahid haven’t switched it up yet. It’s a bit of a pain to remove the spring bars. The bracelet is very comfortable, and it’s a dual folding clasp. There are no micro adjustments, though

Im turning 30 years in august, will buy my first "good" watch then, now i just want your opinion on which one i should get, im thinking between jlc reverso duoface gold, speedmaster tokyo olympics black and gold, rolex datejust 41 mm wimbeldon stainless steel, or omega seamaster diver 300 the new 007 one.
Here's what I'm going to tell ya, go to a boutique, ask for the sales person to show all those watches side by side , take a glance and pick your favorite.
I'm a big fan of the Omega Seamaster 300M. Got that after wanting it for 25 years. The Green AT;however, is probably the better choice for a first luxury watch since it is, IMO, the perfect GADA watch. I love mine.
@@johnanth I agree, if he wants to spend a bit more on the diver 300 then the Sedna Gold is probably better value than the Bond - or he could always save the cash and get the normal 300, and buy a second watch with the extra (could get a good nick pre owned speedmaster and still be thousands under budget compared to the others). That being said I have tried on the Bond Omega and it is somehow tempting, it does look and feel awesome, just not as good value as the normal.
TIP 1 for owners: Do get yourself a nice double lens loupe when you get this watch. You will keep lovin this watch more with each passing day. TIP 2 for Omega : Build a reverse wearing watch. The display for caliber is great, but it would be amazing to have the Sothern hemisphere on the back.

Breitling 1461 4-yr calendar also fits this bill. Less than $10K and packs a chronograph with calculator bezel, (semi) perpetual calendar and moon phase in a 46mm SS case. Tough to beat in terms of complication per $$
I previously had a Ball Engineer Master II Diver Worldtime but ended up selling it on because it was just too big. This seems like a slightly more well-executed version of that kind of vibe (although I did like the tritium tubes on the Ball). The new version of the Ball is like 3mm smaller than the older one so maybe I'll have to give it another try, but I'm saving up for a Grand Seiko SBGE255 or SBGE257 and I think I'll end up liking that more.

As this Christmas I visited my AD and I tried this on my wrist and it’s a great watch to own .. only Rolex always keep a value and Omega unfortunately not … as well as Breitling Tudor TAG Longines or Grabd Seiko which our dealer are carrying.. that’s only one thing which stopped me from buying it today
Omega are (in my opinion) exceptional watches I have fallen out with the whole Rolex thing due to only flippers being able to get hold of one from an AD and adding large amounts of greed to price BTW why is it that flippers are the only people you can buy a Rolex from. Go to a Omega shop and you can have the watch you require why is this ?

Diver 300, but not he 007. I think the faux-patina lume is divisive and won't last as a fashion.

Rolex is at fault here with their distribution model. They totally let the butiques and AD control whoever they want to sell to.
