What a lamentable analysis; it is utterly devoid of coherence, logic, and sense. Jinnah merely acted in accordance with the desires of the British. You seem to favor those who speak solely within the confines of State directives. Listening to her has consistently proven to be a futile endeavor. Her interpretation has been rejected by many. To learn more, visit our channel. To truly grasp your history, read "Allama Mashriqi’s Order: 300,000 Khaksar Soldiers Reach Delhi and the Sudden Collapse of British Rule" by scholar Nasim Yousaf. I do not understand why does she have to defend a person of the past? It is one thing to state facts and another to simply presume intentions. After all they were all humans and have made mistakes. If she really felt that Jinnah wanted things to be sorted out before gaining independence, he would've worked towards a more thorough constitution than what India did. Infact while India continued with Mountbatten, Jinnah took over immediately. It is very clear that India put a lot of effort towards its constitution and state of affairs after freedom compared to a few speeches by Jinnah in Pakistan. I live close to Tufts, hopefully will get to ask her sometime.

    • @TheWartimeLeader
      @TheWartimeLeader  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I don’t think she defends him rather she presents her comprehension of the subject based on her research and this is what a historian must do, right? So to me, the history of partition is ambiguous to an extent that one could only comprehend it based on his/her research.
Secondly, you’ll find her very accommodating. She is such a nice person.

Digging old graves for nothing. Nothing will change between Pakistan and India. Both nations have extreme fundamentalists who would never let peace happen between both countries. Pakistan's Army will never ever want to make merry with India otherwise Army as an institution will collapse. It is in good faith for India if they cut all ties with Pakistan and crumbling Pakistan learn it's lesson. Only and only economic upliftment in both countries can decrease animosity against each other

Knowing Ishtiaq sahab as I have been following him for the last few years, he will accept the invite. He is a scholar focusing on Pakistan and the Sub-Continent. I put 2 conditions if you do accept this challenge:

India was divided 7 times in history. 1876 Afghanistan, 1904 Nepal, 1906 Bhutan, 1907 Tibet, 1935 Sri Lanka, 1937 Burma,
1947 Pakistan ko religion base pr nahe but INDUS 🇵🇰 valley ka separate culture language and nation from Hindi nation, language and HIND Desh ko base bana kr SIND, Ballochistan, NWFP, united Kashmir Bekanir jesalmir Jodhpur Kachh Kathiawar and United Punjab, Dilhi was district of Punjab pr INDUS 🇵🇰 valley ko India se separate krna ke demand British government se karne chahei thy. Today INDUS world 🌎 ka 4th largest population 40 crores ka Desh hota.

Esi partition hone se migration, mass murder on base of religion na hota and Hindu muslim ke aaps m nafrat, Hindi nation ke mslm pr Gadari ke ilzam, dono Desh ke aaps m dushmani na hote.
Nepal Sri Lanka Burma Afghanistan India ke friends ho skte hen tu Bangla🇧🇩 country and INDUS🇵🇰 county bhe India ke friends hote.

1947 Pakistan ko religion base pr nahe but INDUS 🇵🇰 valley ka separate culture language and nation from Hindi nation, language and HIND Desh ko base bana kr SIND, Ballochistan, NWFP, united Kashmir Bekanir jesalmir Jodhpur Kachh Kathiawar and United Punjab, Dilhi was district of Punjab pr INDUS 🇵🇰 valley ko India se separate krna ke demand British government se karne chahei thy. Today INDUS world 🌎 ka 4th largest population 40 crores ka Desh hota.
Like Burma Nepal Bhutan SriLanka ko India se separate keya gaya same pattern pr Bangla 🇧🇩 country ke demand British government se karne chahei thy United Bangal, United Assam, (Arakan Myanmar) Behar and Odessa pr Bangla 🇧🇩 country hota tu aaj world 🌎 ka 3rd largest 55 crores population ka Desh hota.
Esi partition hone se migration, mass murder on base of religion na hota and Hindu muslim ke aaps m nafrat, Hindi nation ke mslm pr Gadari ke ilzam, dono Desh ke aaps m dushmani na hote.
Nepal Sri Lanka Burma Afghanistan India ke friends ho skte hen tu Bangla🇧🇩 country and INDUS🇵🇰 county bhe India ke friends hote.
Indian ke partition pr muslim ko badnam keya gaya.
India ke partition Congress kr ke allegation Jinnah sahib pr Laga kr mazlom bn gai.
Congress had accepted and approved partition of INDIA.
India 1947 ko partition kr ke Hindu Rashtra bna deya gaya tha.
India ke partition se pehle 11 provinces thy,
    Hindu majority 5 provinces.
    Muslim majority 5 provinces.
    Tribal majority Odessa 1, province.
    Total 11 provinces.
    Hindu majority provinces
    1, Bombay 2, Behar 3, UP 4, CP and 5, Madras.
    Hindu minority provinces
    1, NWFP Hindu 6%
    1, Punjab Hindu 24%
    3, SIND Hindu 28%
    4, Assam Hindu 39%
    5, Bangal Hindu 44%.
    6, Odessa Tribal majority.
Ese situation m India Hindu Rashtra or Raam Raaj nahe ho skta tha.
Dalt Shudra molanvasi Aadivasi ko bhe muslim majority provinces and tribal majority Odessa province ke support hote.
Dalt Shudra Chamar Samaj ke log SSP minister commissioner hote Birahman cast ke people sweeper, chokidar and water men Hota.
Aaj BJP RSS Bajrangi workers ne depressed communities pr zulm krte hen esa Kabhe nahe hota.
India powerful Desh hota China ,USA and Europe se zeyadah.
Birahman political leaders Ghandhi Nehru Patel ne India ko kamzor aur khand khand kr deya.
