commenting to the how to ask someone if their gay - I think the best way is to just ask if their dating anyone at the moment or any celebrities they find attractive. This generally gives you a better understanding and can even answer your question :)
Are you dating anyone? What's your type? Do you have a type? What are you attracted to? JUST KEEP IT BROAD I never directly ask "are you gay?" I've Quite offensive and I dont want anyone uncomfortable with me
See, I don't get WHY is that offensive? What's offensive about asking someone if they're gay or straight or bi or whatever else? Is it that they might be in the closet still or? I just wanna know what makes that question offensive, ya know? Because I've been asked that before and I'm straight but I didn't find it offensive that someone thought I was gay or bi. But when I ask that question I usually do it in a joking tone(to not make anyone uncomfortable) and just ask "so you want me to hook you up w someone? What should I look for? A guy a girl a Johnny Depp lookalike?"
@@anitaposa9164 1) yes they could be in the closet or just not want it known in that specific area of thier lives (e.g. work). 2) in some cases how you answer changes the way people perceive you or the fact they are asking might affect how you perceive yourself. Example if you are gay the fact they are asking may be alarming to you depending on how you want to be percieved. "Are they asking because I am presenting as "too feminine, butch, etc." I mean there is not wrong way to present yourself and express your sexuality but depending on your personal feelings on it it can be offensive. Then on the opposite end if you are homophobic or really straight that could be a blow to your ego and sense of self and worth. 3) stigma. Yes maybe you have good intentions in asking, but for all I know you are asking to figure out how you are going to treat me. A lot of times after finding out someone's sexual orientation people change how they interact. So it can be offensive because it can come off as you fishing for information/excuses to use against that person. 4) it isnt your (as in the general your) business and it can put people on guard. People will tell you on thier own time when they feel comfortable with you (if they are not heterosexual). While times have changed to a certain extent being anything other than heterosexual can be hard to navigate in terms of how people (even allies) treat you and even within the community people struggle with having thier sexuality and sexual preferences validated. Some lesbians condemn bi women and think they are bad people if they date men. Many people don't recognize asexuals and put them down. So when you ask for our sexuality it can put some of us on our guard because it may mean preparing ourselves to be insulted or assaulted with questions we don't want to answer. You say your straight and aren't uncomfortable with the question, and that makes sense because your livelihood has never been tied to it. There are still places in the USA where people harrass and beat you up if you arent straight. There are states that until recently had laws that said jobs could fire you for being homosexual. It isnt so much the the question is offensive as in rude by nature, but that the answer actually can effect the person's life. Homophobes are offended because being gay (in thier minds) is offensive. But for some (not all, because i can't speak for everyone) lgbtq+ members answeting could have consequences or put us in uncomfortable situations that absolutely didn't need to happen
I did 3 cycles of egg donations and was anonymous. In the contract you have to sign, they ask you if it would be okay if the children could reach out to you in the future if they’d like. I said yes. The weight gain side effect was absolutely true. I would never regret it though cause I was able to help couples start their families. An incredible gift.
Tbh, it’s a gay thing. You grow up constantly denying who you are, so when people ask, you’re hesitant. You don’t know how they’re gonna react, you don’t know what they’ll say. You don’t know if you’re about to lose a friend.
Here's the thing... if you rely too many times on what-ifs then the situation isn't going anywhere. Sometimes it is good to take risks and at the same time too it sometimes can depend on the time and place of discussion as well.
Right! Especially when you don't kids of your own and that you're struggling to have one...... It's generous but in my opinion it's not the best idea when you're never been a mom...
kolby champ oh wow that’s awesome thanks for letting me know me I’ll look into that and my boyfriend have always wanted to bless a family with a child we’ve talked about me being a surrogate and we’ve also been wanting to foster kids too

These are really great topics!! Right now we're dealing with a situation about not knowing if one of my husbands friends is gay or not but dont want to assume he is and then he's not and vice versa.
Young Queen why is it up to infertile couples to adopt kids ? Practice what you preach you go adopt the kids yourself. It’s not only up to infertile couples to help them.
It’s the way your tone is when speaking to people. If you have great tone then I think you will get an nice answer if not then you get what you get🤷🏿♀️
I reads an article long time along. Written by a white young lady with blue eyes. She talked about how she donated her eggs. She didn’t know until a long time after, that the clinic took more than they should had. That the clinic mis-represented themselves. Then figured out afterwards that her eggs were #1 requests. Blonde with blue eyes. She mentioned how her body was never the same after. Back pain, muscle pain and sharpe headaches etc....I’m not saying anything, just remembering an article I read a while back.
You know, if you wanna know someone's sexuality, the only real reason that isn't just curiosity, is if you're interested in them. Ask them out! On a date, and use the word date. That's that!
I’m not a fan of the idea of sperm or egg donation. I personally would feel like a part of me would always be missing...that child would have my DNA because they would be my biological offspring. I think about my 3 kids...I couldn’t imagine. I feel like there are hundreds of thousands of kids in the system who are desperately in need of love. The foster care system is overflowing with babies/kids.
Exactly right. Doctors playing God is gonna come back to bite them. Potentially there are thousands of half brothers & sisters out there who are gonna meet their siblings, be strongly drawn to them not knowing who they are & then start romantic relationships with them. Exactly right that the adoption/foster care system is overflowing with babies/kids that people should consider that instead. And the friend Adrienne's talking about, I think is the gay guy who's been on her TH-cam channel.
This is a super touchy subject for me, I feel like I couldn’t do it, not for someone I knew definitely. And as the woman who’s raising the child, knowing that baby does not really come from you but comes from there father, so now a close family member has a kid by my man. It’s so much to ut
Aye ! Finallyyyy, I love that you guys talked about some LGBTQ stuff. I've been curious and even though it was mostly referring to gay men, it was a nice and very welcome switch up. Thanks y'all
I think there are a lot of factors when it comes to mother hood and father hood, more than just DNA. It’s kind of a nature vs Nurture thing and is different for all people and families
Nobody should be asking about sexuality because like Adrienne and Jeannie says, it's no one's business! And some people consider it rude, I have seen experiences where people were like "Why does it matter?" or "Do I ask if you're straight", so just don't worry about it and like the person for who they are and it WILL come up, trust me. It's not mandatory to be said.
You get the person involved in a conversation about celebrities you think are fine. Then they’ll chime in and joke around. The lighter the mood the easer it’ll be to ask awkward questions. Also you could just be honest and say that you have a friend that likes them but you aren’t sure if they would like them back. In my experience they’ll ask you straight up if you’re gay 🤷🏽♀️. Just depends on how you say it. Don’t be all weird and make it awkward, especially if they are your friend they shouldn’t get upset.
Most bathrooms I’ve been to though at restaurants with the nice lightings & mirrors every time I go in there’s a huge line & barely a lot of room to walk so they could be hard & frustrating if you wanted to take a selfie! A good place I think is probably a fitting room with the mirrors different angles because it’s just you! Macy’s usually has mirrors like that!
Its not just donating eggs and injecting etc But you also have to take an educational test, have a resume and someone would have to pick your eggs in order for you to get paid and you have to see if you even get approved to donate your eggs so its actually a longer process than most people think.
You tell the person directly, hey I know someone who’s interested in you, what I don’t know is whether you’re looking, what your taste in a potential mate would be, or if you’d be interested in meeting this person.. and let them tell you. It might just be that the reason you can’t figure it out is cuz they haven’t figured it out yet either. If they look like they might be offended, you always got “hey, in today’s world, I’m not assuming or judging nothin!”
As a gay man, I think the best thing to do is some how bring up the topic of relationships/love and respectfully ask something along the lines of "just so I know, do you like men or women?" Don't do what Loni does because that's assuming and if your assumptions happen to be wrong, you're going to offend the hell out of someone. Especially men. And even you're right, some sensitive gay person might still get offended because you use stereotypes. 🤷♂️
can't stop loving this Amazing women, they so real and strong I truly have mad love for y'all I pray God keep y'all and give y'all strength to continue the good works
Adrienne is brave for wanting to donate her eggs; I couldn’t let my bio kids live without me. I’m a surrogate right now, and I feel it’s emotionally easier because I already know it’s not actually my baby.
Girls you also have to be careful, bc even if someone IS gay/bi, they may not be out. So you also risk outing them and completely either ruining or changing their lives. So if the person in question is a close friend, just ask. If the person in question is an acquaintance or stranger, don't worry about it.
the issue here is that of privilege. Heterosexual people have the privilege of their sexuality not needing to be asked. Nonheterosexual people do not have that privilege. We need to get rid of this hegemonic heterosexual culture where straight people don't need to be asked but nonstraight people do. But how often does a straight person have to say they are straight? vs the expectation for a nonheterosexual gay/bisexual/orSomethingElse to disclose their sexuality. The power balance is not equal.
It would depend on the reason you're asking. If you're asking just to be nosey then don't ask. If you're asking because you want to set the person up, then yes ask. The person who is gay will let you know eventually if they want you to know. They won't tell you if you're not someone they're comfortable with being open that way, for whatever reason but most likely (negative). This doesn't mean they're ashamed but just like any straight person, there's thing you are comfortable sharing with people and there's things that you aren't with certain people.

commenting to the how to ask someone if their gay - I think the best way is to just ask if their dating anyone at the moment or any celebrities they find attractive.
"I got a huge window by my tub 😧"
"Dang it, now I'm confused AGAIN!!!"
Tamera, you so funny 😂😂😂
You could tell loni was on the verge of tears in the beginning 😔
Here's the thing... if you rely too many times on what-ifs then the situation isn't going anywhere. Sometimes it is good to take risks and at the same time too it sometimes can depend on the time and place of discussion as well.
that is so hard. knowing that's genetically your kid.
Right! Especially when you don't kids of your own and that you're struggling to have one...... It's generous but in my opinion it's not the best idea when you're never been a mom...
ANNA ROSE you can’t be a surrogate until you’ve had atleast one successful pregnancy
Just passing through I think you’d still have to atleast have a successful pregnancy to donate your eggs but I’m not 100% sure on that one
Jackie Abernathy You dont have to have a successful pregnancy but you cant have reproductive disorders.
kolby champ oh wow that’s awesome thanks for letting me know me I’ll look into that and my boyfriend have always wanted to bless a family with a child we’ve talked about me being a surrogate and we’ve also been wanting to foster kids too
For anyone wondering: yes this clip is from season 3. It’s part of the Girl Chat Vault playlist. They cannot give us season 5 entire girl chat clips because they do not count as ratings to keep the show on air. Also of course it’s old, the studio is different ahahah
Tamera and Loni together have always been pure comedy since the beginning. Miss you Tamera 😔 I blame the producers of the show lol
I really can't wait for the day when Adrienne has her own little bundle of joy
she finally has 🥺
I’m with Tamera on this baby thing...I’d be the same way 😹😹😹
Reana Charles 👍
These are really great topics!! Right now we're dealing with a situation about not knowing if one of my husbands friends is gay or not but dont want to assume he is and then he's not and vice versa.
With the eggs...most peoppe would keep it business style and just donate get the money and go. The lucky recipients would just be happy to have them.
Why donate to eggs??! If you want to be a mom so bad why not adopt the thousands of babies and kids in foster care and adoption agencies!????
Young Queen I agree.
👏👏
Maybe they want the baby to have the same DNA
Young Queen why is it up to infertile couples to adopt kids ? Practice what you preach you go adopt the kids yourself. It’s not only up to infertile couples to help them.
Young Queen I’m saying I’m adopted lol
Tamera looks so pretty.
“That’s a lot of money” I’m with Adrienne here.... That is whoo.
It’s the way your tone is when speaking to people. If you have great tone then I think you will get an nice answer if not then you get what you get🤷🏿♀️
I don’t get Jeannie she says she doesn’t want kids but whenever they bring up kids as a topic she seems so invested
It’s crazy to look back at these videos, Jeannie was very thin. Her arms were so tiny 😬.
StingingwithqueenC Her face too.
She looks weird
She still had her rings on
??? I thought this was new??? It says 2019???
@@faithervin9294this was from 2017 ish
Edit: Definitely 2017, March to be specific.
You know, if you wanna know someone's sexuality, the only real reason that isn't just curiosity, is if you're interested in them. Ask them out! On a date, and use the word date. That's that!
I Agree.. Dont Show The Toilet!!!♡♡LOL
Wella Novee I’m the same.
This is how I feel as well.
Vrai • - True!
I agree to all of your points!
Agree
Lol Loni's reaction to Tamera's bathroom window realization
Adrienne: stunning photo *you are still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top Model* ✨
This is a super touchy subject for me, I feel like I couldn’t do it, not for someone I knew definitely. And as the woman who’s raising the child, knowing that baby does not really come from you but comes from there father, so now a close family member has a kid by my man. It’s so much to ut
OMG!! Jeannie was sooooooooo skinny here!! And she looks so gorgeous now! 🤩🤩🤩
Shiiiiid...I would definitely give up my eggs for $14,000!
Brittany Jacqueline rigghhtt!!! Like how many you want???
Can you post full clips of recent videos too? Y'all only post full clips of old videos. 😒
Cool Potato I agree 👍
Truly most annoying.
Aye ! Finallyyyy, I love that you guys talked about some LGBTQ stuff. I've been curious and even though it was mostly referring to gay men, it was a nice and very welcome switch up. Thanks y'all
A's lip and nail matching combo is so pleasing to look at
GIRL CHAT SUGGESTION: They should have a girl chat about the James Charles & Tati Westbrook situation.
Yazmin Rubio hell naw😅💀 I’ve had enough
I think there are a lot of factors when it comes to mother hood and father hood, more than just DNA. It’s kind of a nature vs Nurture thing and is different for all people and families
Tamara selfie is so damn gorgeous
Tam looks so nice!
I'm dying to know the brand of lip gloss Jeannie's wearing. It looks so glossy and long lasting! And this coral shade is gorgeous!!!
7:26 Awe cute, Tamera snorted 😂😂
*06:15* HELP, WHAT DID ADRIENNE SAY
“That was a -“ 😂😂 then jeannie looked at her like bItChh StFu
You get the person involved in a conversation about celebrities you think are fine. Then they’ll chime in and joke around. The lighter the mood the easer it’ll be to ask awkward questions. Also you could just be honest and say that you have a friend that likes them but you aren’t sure if they would like them back.
In my experience they’ll ask you straight up if you’re gay 🤷🏽♀️. Just depends on how you say it. Don’t be all weird and make it awkward, especially if they are your friend they shouldn’t get upset.
Lmao! Tamera😂😂😭😭 "Come home"
I'm dying!😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
“Don’t show the toilet” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Most bathrooms I’ve been to though at restaurants with the nice lightings & mirrors every time I go in there’s a huge line & barely a lot of room to walk so they could be hard & frustrating if you wanted to take a selfie! A good place I think is probably a fitting room with the mirrors different angles because it’s just you! Macy’s usually has mirrors like that!
Dammmm!!!! Lonnie's make-up was amazing. I want those eyes!
I just thought I have a big window by my tub. 😂
Its not just donating eggs and injecting etc But you also have to take an educational test, have a resume and someone would have to pick your eggs in order for you to get paid and you have to see if you even get approved to donate your eggs so its actually a longer process than most people think.
Loni love,u look exceptionally beautiful today!!🥰
You tell the person directly, hey I know someone who’s interested in you, what I don’t know is whether you’re looking, what your taste in a potential mate would be, or if you’d be interested in meeting this person.. and let them tell you. It might just be that the reason you can’t figure it out is cuz they haven’t figured it out yet either. If they look like they might be offended, you always got “hey, in today’s world, I’m not assuming or judging nothin!”
Lonis face 😂😂 "basically" I love Loni.
Giving eggs seems like such a selfless thing to do that is so sweet. However I’m with tamera on this one! I’d be like MY BABY in my head 😩💁🏻♀️
I want more videos this long
Isaiah Ruiz Except, longer videos are usually older videos from when Jeannie was still married.
can't stop loving this Amazing women, they so real and strong I truly have mad love for y'all I pray God keep y'all and give y'all strength to continue the good works
I like Loni's approach of asking someone who's gay.
Adrienne is brave for wanting to donate her eggs; I couldn’t let my bio kids live without me. I’m a surrogate right now, and I feel it’s emotionally easier because I already know it’s not actually my baby.
Jeannie was so thin omg, she is so much healthier and more beautiful now
Shes always been drop dead gorgeous . her weight has nothing to do with that.
I love how long this video is!
I like how they post older clips, because sometimes my opinion changes.
I love these ladies all empowering one another
Girls you also have to be careful, bc even if someone IS gay/bi, they may not be out. So you also risk outing them and completely either ruining or changing their lives. So if the person in question is a close friend, just ask. If the person in question is an acquaintance or stranger, don't worry about it.
I'm from the UK and the Daily Mail is probably the worst newspaper over here. It cracks me up when they do segments about it 🙈
Yay longer episodes😍
Joyce Yes, but old videos.
the issue here is that of privilege.
It’s crazy to watch this video and see Adrienne and Ever now ❤
